  1. The thing that I remember most is that Heavens record. So many people freaked out so fucking much about that shit, and then it ended up coming in a plain jacket with a tiny little sticker on it and people somehow managed to freak out even more
  2. Haha. My first release was supposed to actually be an LP from a pretty big hardcore band but that fell through. My FIFTH release, however.. will be a heavy hitter.
  3. Figured I'd make a new thread about this release, I'll keep it updated with all the necessary info separate from the other 7" thread. DF-003 will be: The Fake Boys - "This Is Where Our Songs Live" LP One side of the LP will contain their "Pop Punk Is Dead" EP released on Cheapskate Records, the other will be "Sleepwalk" EP on Frequency Deleted Records. It will have brand new artwork and be on some super cool colored vinyl. Really excited about this one.. it will hopefully be out in the next few months. DF-004 will come shortly after.. maybe? 4. Hmm.. no idea, I sent that stuff to the post office a while ago. You should have a tracking number attached to the PayPal payment though?
  5. Also - I have DF-003 confirmed and I will be making an official announcement about that tonight

  7. I sold about 90% of my record collection to help fund my first 3 releases. Don't regret it at all.
  8. It took me a while to realize there was a tattoo anywhere in that picture.
  9. Giving away a copy of "Blood Bank" - http://www.deadformat.net/contest.php?id=26
  10. Sorry dude, but whatever that person told you is 100% false. I've developed every single part of it without "stealing" code from anyone else... and I'd be more than happy to prove it to anyone who is doubtful (although I shouldn't really have to). I'm the only person who will ever have "first-hand knowledge" of the situation... considering I've never discussed the details of the backend of the system with anybody. I have no idea who could have told you that or why.
  11. I'm really curious why anyone would think that I stole any type of code from another website (especially when you can't actually SEE the backend portion of it). I spent quite a lot of time developing everything from scratch, and I'm still working on improving it. The REAL reason I keep it cheap is because a friend of mine hosts my site at a very affordable price so there's no need for me to charge anything more. I think the whole idea of providing digital downloads with vinyl records is extremely important and I do it nice and cheap to help out indie labels who don't exactly have a lot of money to spend on stuff like this.
  12. Haha what!? Please tell me what backends I stole from other websites. I'd LOVE to know.
  13. We've done / we are currently doing downloads for the following labels (with a lot more coming up): Eenie Meenie Records Fast Geek Empire Forcefield Records Forge Again Records Houseplant Records Init Records Magic Bullet Records Neutral Territory Records People In A Position To Know REACT! Records Solidarity Recordings The Mylene Sheath
  14. Hmmmm.. how many people would be interested seeing either of The Fake Boys two older CDEP's on vinyl?
  15. Hydra Head could easily repress it and make bank, but Botch is dead and members moved onto other bands so it's pointless when they're obviously much better off focusing their efforts on new and current artists.
