Yea man that's a bummerit looks like everyone that ordered around the time frame of the death grips boots Are still waiting on their orders. From the way he does business it makes it look like that promise was just a cash grab. I'm sure he got flooded with orders for doing it and it's overwhelming but fuck answer people's emails, work harder or don't commit to something you can't fullfill in a somewhat timely manner. you've had their money in your bank account forever now.

The releases on this label are excellent but yea other than that everything else about it kinda sucks. I placed an order in February for death grips and lil ugly mane tapes (before I knew of horror stories from other people) about a week later I ordered 2 Antwon tapes thinking "cool I'll just order them and send an email to combine shipping". emailed him asking to combine and to either see about a refund on the second orders shipping or to just throw in one of the free tapes that is advertised on the website (no idea which he's referring to but it says you just pay shipping). Never received any response. Got 2 different tracking numbers. opened my package and it was just the lum and death grips. The second tracking number just sat for 2 months and never moved. I ended up moving and tried emailing and posting to facebook trying to get my address updated, again no response but he commented to other people saying he had some one helping with emails and responding to them. Tracking number finally started moving a few days later (earlier this week) delivery confirmation but nothing in my mailbox. They were sent to my old place. Luckily I got my tapes but Yea the whole thing was a hassle. There's more stuff that I would still like to pick up but I'm on the fence about doing business with him again. I feel kinda bad for the people that ordered the lum vinyl boxset and the headache they are probably going through especially since their orders were waaaay more than the money I sent him. Super sketchy the facebook was deleted too. Order at your own risk folks Holy shit longest post ever haha

I meant on my stereo. I listened to them on my phone which isn't really the same experience.So yea no need to try and call me out on something as I do enjoy the music on them and they will be listened to. Sorry if I'm some greedy person for buying something "that a bunch of people thoroughly enjoy from start to finish and would love to have physicals of" too. Do you plan on listening to both copies of the Katie dey tapes that you bought equally? I'm sure some one who didn't get one would love a copy! And my previous comment was just from personal expierience with the label. I would be very upset if I didn't get any form of response after waiting months as well.

Got my fog lake and Katie dey tapes yesterday. First time hearing both releases in full, they are great It's crazy reading through this thread and hearing all the stories of extreme delayed orders/no email responses back from warren I've never had problems getting responses each time iv tried to contact him. Yea the orders normally take a while to ship out (months after the expected date posted in the store) but they have always came through, eventually On that note I got an email stating dsu will be shipping "shortly after" my tapes were sent. I guess there was issues with the lp jackets getting damaged or something during shipment and they needed to be replaced. So yes hopefully we get em soon!

sweeeet thanks for the heads up! wasn't into buying tapes when these were in stock and regretted not picking it after i started buying them. love this release but its just too damn short to buy on wax so the tape will be perfect. i highly recommend checking out terry malts-killing time, looks like theres a cassette version. such a good record
