  1. this may have been talked about, but how was Starry Eyes? I know its coming to vinyl, but the premise doesnt do nothing for me, so debating on checking it out, to see if I want to pick up the vinyl or not...

I dug Starry Eyes.  It wasn't the most amazing flick of the year, but I definitely enjoyed it.

  2. I didn't hate the lineup of TIHC; in fact, I would love the chance to see American Nightmare, Snapcase, Nails, and H20.  I just don't like fests, I'm not into the idea of having to travel and get a hotel and whatnot, just to watch short sets from bands I like.  This is definitely due to me getting old.

I felt super old at a Turnstile show the other night, standing by the bar instead of trying to get as close as possible, like when I was in my twenties.

  3. Sure, I've watched it a thousand times, but I rewatched the og Dawn of the Dead tonight and I'm always stoked on all of the new things I notice from each viewing.

I really want to watch a movie that actually scares me. It's been a really, really long time

  4. I don't think Rick shot Pete, I think Deanna gave him the ok to shoot Reg before he turned. They can use Pete for medical treatment and will probably just keep him locked up somewhere like a prisoner with a sort of 'you treat our people when they're injured and we let you live' stipulation.

Dammit, I didn't even think of that.  I agree with you fully regarding this theory

  5. Thought last night's episode was freaking fantastic.  Sure, there wasn't a lot that actually happened, but there were a lot of gears that were put in motion, and a lot of internal struggle and change was shown, which I find a lot more thrilling than just simply offing someone

  6. If you're a fan of documentaries then I can't recommend The Overnighters enough. One of the most surprisingly heartbreaking things I've seen in a while. It's on Netflix now so you have no excuses.

I'm seconded this.  I can say with zero doubt that this is one of the greatest documentaries I've ever seen.  What an amazing story about a man being trying his hardest to be a good person and help his fellow man.  Do yourselves a favor and watch this immediately.
