My favorite, by far, is PS3 Media Server. It connects with my BluRay player over my WiFi network, so I can stream anything (movies, music, etc) wirelessly to my TV. This pairs well with NoSleep, which allows me to shut my MacBook without the computer falling asleep.

this may have been talked about, but how was Starry Eyes? I know its coming to vinyl, but the premise doesnt do nothing for me, so debating on checking it out, to see if I want to pick up the vinyl or not...
I dug Starry Eyes. It wasn't the most amazing flick of the year, but I definitely enjoyed it.

According to Rob Zombie's Facebook yesterday, Tom Towles has passed away .
He was best known for his roles in Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer, House of 1000 Corpses, and a couple other of Rob Zombie's films. R.I.P. Tom. I for one, was a big fan.

I marathoned House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects last night, what a tragedy.

I didn't hate the lineup of TIHC; in fact, I would love the chance to see American Nightmare, Snapcase, Nails, and H20. I just don't like fests, I'm not into the idea of having to travel and get a hotel and whatnot, just to watch short sets from bands I like. This is definitely due to me getting old.
I felt super old at a Turnstile show the other night, standing by the bar instead of trying to get as close as possible, like when I was in my twenties.

Man, I got so stoked to see a teaser was up, but I was so disappointed to find that there was zero substance to it
-
Sure, I've watched it a thousand times, but I rewatched the og Dawn of the Dead tonight and I'm always stoked on all of the new things I notice from each viewing.
I really want to watch a movie that actually scares me. It's been a really, really long time

Watched P2 last night, on Netflix, if you dig the people vs people genre (ATM, The Strangers), this would be a good watch for you. Also, Wes Bentley does an awesome job playing a convincing creep.

There's still some pretty good, maybe more rock influenced country out today. Austin Lucas has been putting out solid releases for some time now. Same goes for Cory Branan. Also, if you wanna hear some sad bastard country, do yourself a favor and check out the Everybodyfields

Didn't want to start a new thread but needed a forum just to say Hulu fucking sucks. Ads and non-continuous play??!?!! What a joke.
Agreed, luckily we don't pay for ours.

Agreed. I love that they allow for Saul to have a much more emotional, human-like personality, than how he was portrayed in Breaking Bad.

Exactly, if a bite will get you to zombie-town, almost immediately, I would think that zombie blood in an open wound should have the same effect
-
I'm always curious if someone would get infected from all the stray zombie blood that comes at them from up close stabbings and what not; there has to be the threat of an open would that would allow the disease to spread to the non-infected

I don't think Rick shot Pete, I think Deanna gave him the ok to shoot Reg before he turned. They can use Pete for medical treatment and will probably just keep him locked up somewhere like a prisoner with a sort of 'you treat our people when they're injured and we let you live' stipulation.
Dammit, I didn't even think of that. I agree with you fully regarding this theory

Thought last night's episode was freaking fantastic. Sure, there wasn't a lot that actually happened, but there were a lot of gears that were put in motion, and a lot of internal struggle and change was shown, which I find a lot more thrilling than just simply offing someone

Picked up Samiam "Clumsy" from Sirens. Thanks for the heads up

Even the trailer, viewed on a theatre screen, is epic as hell

Re-watched Beef Fest a couple of weeks ago and was reminded by how not funny it was. I'm really hoping this won't be lame. I still haven't watched Dumb and Dumber To because I've heard too many awful things about it.

If you're a fan of documentaries then I can't recommend The Overnighters enough. One of the most surprisingly heartbreaking things I've seen in a while. It's on Netflix now so you have no excuses.
I'm seconded this. I can say with zero doubt that this is one of the greatest documentaries I've ever seen. What an amazing story about a man being trying his hardest to be a good person and help his fellow man. Do yourselves a favor and watch this immediately.

Just watched Beneath (2014), not a terrible watch; mostly just a poor man's Descent replacing the monsters with mankind. It's on Netflix if you find yourself needing something a bit creepy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Snowpiercer was extremely overrated; however, that is merely one guy's opinion

Watched Nurse on Netflix today, to which I highly recommend NOT watching. Terrible acting, bad dialogue, and because it was originally filmed to be a 3D flick, there are a lot of obvious "3D" bits that don't pan out well outside of 3D.
