Spent some time this morning working on the lack of lyric inserts for all of the current Solid State / Tooth And Nail releases, plus a few others. The artwork is part of what I love about collecting records, and to not have anything included with these releases is pretty cheap on the labels end, so here is something for entertainment purposes. There are links included to all, so if you want to print out your own, be my guest... and to the dude who did this for the As Cities Burn release, great job! Not trying to step on your toes at all, but just did my own little rendition as well.

I don't see the appeal of turning your record shelves into a rave with flashing lights and all that bullshit, but, if that's what floats your boat, I'll just laugh and think, "Thank God we're not friends".
Just someone being creative, man. Chill. I can go throughout life just fine without personally knowing you.

Saw someone get creative with the missing elements for the As Cities Burn "Come Now Sleep" vinyl release, and hated not having an insert for this one, so I did this at work today. If anyone wants the files to print themselves, message me... I currently have it printed double-sided on a 100# Matte Text sheet, and it's golden.

As a personal project, it would be pretty satisfying, fun, and awesome to work on that and get it as perfect as you can. Not everything needs to be put in the context of "YEAH BUT HOW DOES THIS HELP ME, A GUY ON THE INTERNET? I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR THAT/HAVE SOMEONE INSTALL THAT FOR ME/USE THAT SAME SYSTEM FOR MY OWN RECORDS".
People like building stuff with their hands and brain and this looks dope to do. Thanks for sharing.
Totes.

What's the point though? I know where to find my Metallica. It's between Metal Church and Missing Persons.
Also, I use the same RGBs for the lighting for my tt, but it uses a remote, not a tablet.
Don't get me wrong, it looks cool. What took 3 years btw?
I personally have no clue how to program anything dealing with lighting, so seeing someone accomplish a feat like this from scratch and building a program to work with your desires is tight. Just for the hobby, man.

Holy hell. My wife knows this dude, and he said that he has been working on this for three years... insane. Want. Need.

Posted this in another topic, but in case someone might not see it in there, here are some recreated lyric inserts for this release. The label got cheap with these releases, so I figured I would make my own to enjoy while listening.
