  1. Much rather see ETID's Hot Damn! pressed on some awesome colours than any other Ferret release.
  2. Agreed, but only the massive red ones, i ate sushi today for lunch and had a salmon and avocado roll with roe on the outside and i didn't even taste it. I love this thread.
  3. oh man since i read this i've wanted sushi and i've only just eaten dinner. lucky the sushi place up the road is closed.
  4. fuck yeah, whole foods sushi is amazing, i've been having it twice a week recently

  6. + A night in hammering Call Of Duty 4 + Seeing Wall.E tomorrow + After eating mexican - Spent so much money this weekend
  7. This is my Dad's story, i only found out about it a few months ago but i was quite shocked to hear it. He used to live with a load of guys at university, one of whom had some mental problems, was quite depressed and suffered terrible mood swings. Anyways, one night after having a load to drink my they were all hanging ou in their house and this one guy went a bit crazy, smashed up some furniture and disappeared to his room. An hour or so later they heard a loud bang and obviously thought nothing of it but when my dad went to check on him later he was sat up against the wall on his bed having shot himself in the mouth, blood and bits of his head spread all over the wall behind him. By far the darkest story i've ever heard my dad tell me, i was quite shocked to hear this had happened to him, especially as he left it until i was 23 to tell me.
  8. + last day of work this week! + a band came in for a shoot and one member brought his dog, it's been causing carnage in the office for the last hour, awesome. - still no fucking print from Deathwish.
  9. + just had amazing sushi for lunch from whole foods + my girlfriend found an amazing apartment to move into when her lease is up + only tomorrow left to work this week - after deathwish sent me the wrong bannon print and i returned it, their replacement still hasn't arrived, it's been over a month now since they shipped it and im officially worried.
  10. Skate, GTA IV and Bioshock are by far the most fun games i've played offline. If you do find yourself wanting to take anything online, i'd recommend Call Of Duty 4, i've had months of enjoyment out of that on XBL but the campaign mode is pretty short and not worth paying full price for if you don't intend to play it online.
  11. 1.) Yes, but you still get an extended 3 year warranty against the 3 red rings. 2.) Halo 3, GTAIV, Skate. That hits all 3 genres...competitive online FPS with awesome campaign mode, free-roaming shooter where you an spend hours smashing peoples heads in with a baseball bat, and a totally chilled out skating game that is incredibly innovative. Backed, except Halo 3, i hated that. Call Of Duty 4 is leagues ahead in every respect, in my opinion.
  12. It smells like shit and it's as hot as an oven but they have had some awesome shows there and the sound is usually amazing! Converge killed it.
  13. That fucking ruled, glad they played one of the smaller london venues this time. Coliseum were also great but it sucks i can't make the second show next week. Who else was there? On another note, im also incredibly glad i bought ear plugs in time for this show!
  14. one black one white, fuck that was difficult to check out!!!
  15. are they comfortable? can they be lost? I was a bit worried about losing them, a lot of sets come with a case that can be connected to your keychain. These didn't, however, so after a bit of searching i ordered a waterproof pill box (most weed accessories internet vendors seem to sell them for some reason...) that they can go in and stay with my keys. Otherwise im bound to forget them in the morning if i go to a show after work. it looks like this...
  16. Got this exact same set yesterday evening. Think i'll be sticking with the high protection filters for gigs.
  17. Great Idea, more musicians and even fans need to consider wearing earplugs. I am deaf in my left ear because I thought I was too cool for earplugs and ruptured by eardrum at an agnostic front show, and went deaf in that ear. Years of abuse on the ears can be a lifetime of regret. yeah i figured i really have to start doing this and the only way i'll definitely keep to it is if i make sure im not getting some budget pair from the supermarket and actually spend a little bit of money on it. We have a writer at the mag i work for who's just been told he has tinnitus, from years of reviewing shows, he's only 30!
  18. Excellent, thank you! I think im looking for filter ear plugs or something along those lines. Im just down the road from a bunch of music shops so i'll be down there later in the week. Thanks for your advice!
  19. Recently im getting fucking worried about my hearing, i've been going to gigs for a good few years now and probably see around 70-100 a year at this point. Now even 5 mins of loud music makes them ring for a couple of hours and they often feel like they're blocked. I started wearing ear plugs a couple of years ago but that lasted about 2 weeks and i haven't worn them since. As of sunday im wearing them again, in time for Converge's first London show. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which ones i should get? Also would really appreciate if anyone who plays drums can let me know what they use as im going to need them for that too!
  20. RIYL: The Bronx, Blacklisted, Every Time I Die SAMPLE IT: www.myspace.com/cancerbats BUY IT: www.teamdistort.com FAVOURITE TRACKS: Hail Destroyer, Smiling Politely
  21. I support Arsenal, have done since i was 5 or so, they play in the premier league. I now live about a mile from the stadium and im on the waiting list for a season ticket. So maybe by the time im 30 i'll have it (im 23 now).
  22. Matt Caughtran of The Bronx fucked his knee on the first night of a tour over in the UK to the point that he was told he may need surgery, he did it while singing the entirety of Heart Attack American from the floor in the middle of the crowd (they were main support, the venues and crowds he did this in the middle of were huge). Anyway, not only did he finish the show on that fisrt night, he played the rest of the two week tour and did the same thing for that song every night, with a big shit-eating grin on his face the whole time.
  23. Would anyone be interested in the Poison The Well studio demos that were leaked a while before Versions came out? I've not listened to it since the record was released but im pretty sure none of them are on the record. So really, they're jams, not demos.
