  1. Seattle Great Falls and Montreal's Great Sabatini team up for a split LP of gross, heavy music with unique packaging in a very limited pressing. Along with both bands submitting new music not on their new individual records this record contains a collaborative middle interlude on a locked groove, letterpressed covers, and an etched B-side. Great Falls guitarist/vocalist Demian Johnson contributes the haunting cover art, which he printed via letterpress at his own studio. Meanwhile, Great Sabatini's Sean Arsenian designed the wild artwork that comprises the B-side of this LP as a laser-etched design. Both bands contributed sound for the interlude track- a spooky noise piece that repeats on a locked groove. It creates an engaging experience for the listener, as they have to physically move the needle to continue on to the second half of the record. Both bands push the envelope of what heavy, complex, and massively distorted noise rock/metal can be and are at the forefront of whatever it is exactly that they both do. PRE-ORDER IS UP HERE. * International orders go through MVD here
  2. GRIZZLOR are a CT-based trio that have released a couple 7"s and splits and are now releasing their first LP. If you dig super-irritated sludgy/riffy noise rock and being pissed off about basically everything you'd probably enjoy this. Pressing split half on black vinyl, half on clear yellow. Ships mid-August. Bandcamp (new song/pre-order): https://hexrecords.bandcamp.com/album/grizzlor-destructoid Store (for records and other deals): http://hexrecords.bigcartel.com/products

  4. My buddy's in King Giant have just finished their new album and are looking to offer a vinyl option. 5. Greetings Earthlings, I have a copy of the Stephen O'Malley and Atsuo experimental LP Uroborus Circuit. Here's more info at Discogs. I don't want money. I want a trade. Anyone want to trade something for it? It's in good condition. I've only listened to it once. Love, Glom

Boleskin 30:29 Six songs. 75:08 minutes. 2XLP gatefold sleeve on reverse board with spot UV. 1000 x Black Standard Gram 1000 x Blood Red (Translucent) Standard Gram 500 x Black 180 Gram 300 x Electric Blue (Translucent) Standard Gram 100 x Deep Purple (Translucent) Standard Gram (Sold Out) 100 x Clear (do not request clear) "Woodbine": http://www.stereogum.com/1423011/windhand-woodbine/mp3s/ (I highly recommend checking out this track.) This band has been up and coming for some time. They've gotten great responses in the overall stoner/sludge/doom realms of metal fandom. Their first and eponymous album and their split with label mates Cough, Reflection Of The Negative, (track "Amaranth" is highly recommended) are both on their bandcamp: http://windhandva.bandcamp.com/ I'm super stoked for this release. One of the most exciting newer bands that I've discovered recently. They've got a couple tracks that are almost too slow for me ("Shepherd's Crook" for instance) but overall they're on the faster end of what would be considered "doom".
  8. You probably haven't heard of Australian band The Schoenberg Automaton until now. The band's campaign is approaching the final 24hrs and they have <$900 left to meet the goal. I haven't read all the fine print so I'm unsure what happens if the goal is not met. I think I'm going to kick in the $56 CDN for the 2 hardcopy tab books + digital download. Learning stuff from bands like this is usually very tough by ear, and not enough people make an effort to transcribe and share so I think it would be a cool resource to have and at a very decent price. If you like death metal, deathcore, djent, grind, blastbeats, anything heavy and technical, take a peek, you might like it. I'm going to keep a close eye on this, if it gets close to the goal I think I'll have to put a hold on some albums I was planning on picking up in order to kick in for the tab books before it ends. To see if you might be interested, here you can listen to their previous album in full: Pitch in / check out the rewards they are offering here: http://www.pozible.com/tsa

  10. Hey guys, I'm currently trying to get Electric Wizard's complete discography on vinyl. I'm mainly looking for first pressings, or rare reissues (ones that aren't in press anymore). I'm also looking for any of their 7"s, 12"s, EPs etc. I also have a clear die hard of Idolum which I would trade for a Black Masses die hard, if anyone is interested. I currently have: Debut 1st press We Live 1st Press Demon Lung 7" I'd be interested in anything other than that though. I'm also looking for stuff by Sleep (not dopesmoker though), OM, Blood Ceremony, High on Fire, Church of Misery, Uncle Acid, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age and Kadavar.
