  1. Bleep Exclusive Clear Vinyl Vinyl 3×LP$34.99 Add to Basket Bleep Exclusive Limited to 500 Clear Vinyl MP3 delivered on release date MP3 download of vinyl tracks is included with vinyl purchases. Jaw-dropping disco LP from Luke Vibert under his Kerrier District alias given a much-needed reissue by Hypercolour, originally out in 2004 on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label and criminally unavailable until now. Praised by all who hear it, Kerrier District is a melting pot where deep acid, New York garage and dub-disco all blend together to create one of the best modern electronic funk albums of the past twenty years. Taking a wedge of influence from Black Devil Disco Club's 1978 self-titled LP/EP (depending on who you ask) and originally issued on Rephlex the same year they reissued BDDC, Kerrier District instantly became something of an underground classic, providing a border crossing for fans of library rooted deep disco and the more electronica referencing drill 'n' bass fans of Rephlex/Vibert/Aphex. Using an army of analogue synths, drum machines and boogie rhythmic samples, Kerrier District is an LP almost out of time with all else in this style, while it has that old school edge it sounds neither new and modern (not in a bad way, mind) but also isn't a retro sound, more than anything it truly has it's own unique sound and character, that twelve years after first hearing it has still got us in the groove and with the newly remastered job its properly sounding fresher than ever. Every track is pretty much flawless and the keen-eared out there will hear occasional echoes of other Vibert projects (there's a well-placed sample in exactly the same place and track number as used on the Amen Andrews vs Spac Hand Luke LP - go search!) upon its original release Rephlex hailed Kerrier District "a kaleidoscopic ride through disco, funk and MPC beats" and we can't really argue with that. An essential piece of electronica history right here, stick it on, play it loud and everybody get on the disco bus! Vinyl Track List A1. Let’s Dance And Freak A2. Silhouettes B1. Illogan C1. Disclix C2. Disco Bus D1. New York E1. Yesco E2. Negresco F1. Wide Vice F2. Squaredance.
  2. The new EP by Barrosfera is now available on limited edition vinyl! Limited to only 200 copies. Grab your copy here
  3. Pre order up on Rough Trade - http://www.roughtrade.com/albums/99130 If you like Jamie xx and John Talabot style house music you should fall in love with this guy. And if the EP is anything to go by this LP will be huge. BLURB: "Fatima Yamaha's first release ' A girl Between Two Worlds' (2004), including the masterpiece 'What's a Girl to Do' has been lingering since it first came out. The story of 'What's Girl to Do' is nearly as brilliant as the song itself. It took almost a decade until the world acknowledged the tracks brilliance. After being sampled by Hudson Mohawke on his 2015 album 'Lantern' and much demand, it is finally been reissued on Magnetron Music alongside Dekmantel . Only now in 2015 her debut album 'Imaginary Lines' is awaiting release. Fatima Yamaha is not only the creator of this music, she is also the subject of it. Each song explores the concept, the live, the joys and struggles of a girl born between worlds. Born between ages. Too many words might upset this delicate self-exploratory cycle. Fatima Yamaha. Not a Creature of Culture Creation. A Girl Between two Worlds, a Citizen of the Universe. What's a girl to Do when Love Invades and Imaginary Lines become real borders? Midnight Crossing like a Sooty Shearwater to a place sweet as Plum Jelly. Eating Sushi and Baklava. At the Foot of Mount Ararat, skinny dipping in Sazak Bay. Departures on the bullet train in the pale moonlight, rising to the occasion again and again."
  4. I don't pay these records nearly enough attention, so it's time to offload and spend my hard-earned money elsewhere. See below for refs on happy customers, but also see eBay, discogs and heatware.com. (Heatware is a reference site for selling/trading computer parts) I am not going to individually price all of these records. Tell me what you're interested in, and I'll respond with a VERY FAIR price. Certainly for less that what the lowest discogs asking price is in likely all cases. Most records are in great shape. I'll give detailed grades of what you're interested in. A sampling of asking prices (this is from the first time I posted this thread, so many of my example records are gone): $20 --- Steven Price* - Gravity $15 --- Com Truise - In Decay (Limited Edition, Orange Transparent ) $15 --- David August - Times $12 --- Tycho (3) - Dive $15 --- LCD Soundsystem - Sound Of Silver $10 --- Various - After Dark (Italians Do It Better compilation) $10 --- Chromatics - Night Drive $15 --- Poolside - Pacific Standard Time $15 --- DJ Koze - Amygdala $15 --- LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening $10 --- Bibio - Mind Bokeh Here's the full list of what I have available. I will do my best to keep it updated as records are sold. Please don't hesitate to ask questions!
  5. I just listed this Cut Chemist album on my discogs page, its pretty rare. Was hoping someone on here was into this sort of thing. the sleeve shows some typical shelf wear, but its really nice. Both records look like they were never plays. This is the original and only pressing of this album, which is out of print. I'm asking $60, but would consider offers. Thanks guys! -D http://www.discogs.com/Cut-Chemist-The-Audiences-Listening/release/1834849
  6. Madeon's single from 2013 "Technicolor" has been repressed and is available over at My Play Direct: Madeon - Technicolor A little steep on the price but I was bummed I missed out on grabbing this last time.
  7. My name is David and I am a middle aged collector and former DJ who traveled extensively around the globe when I was younger playing out and digging bins and crates and thru others collections for a lifetime. Now, as I am getting older, my children, who are adults themselves do not share the passion or dedication or interest in vinyl records as I do, so, to the right individual, I am willing to discuss the sale of. my complete vinyl record collection that has taken me 40 years to acquire. I have it all. Spoken word, Old Training LP's, Classic Rock,to Blues, Hip Hop, Rap, House, Trance Techno,I played clubs mostly so many Top 40's, and, Top 100's, From A-Z. I have been an eclectic collector and am looking to find a special person to take over my legacy and obsession of vinyl. I will not turn this over to just anyone as many are rare, unopened LP's like Michael Jackson's 1st release of THRILLER, or Rolling Stones 1st releases, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Cream, The Doors and MANY MANY more. Price will be discussed over a phone call to determine your seriousness and level of interest. If you are a pro DJ or producer that wants sounds and songs from 90 years of music in all genres in one place without flying round the globe to source them from every record store from New York to LA to all points in England and abroad in Europe then you will absolutely need to get your hands on this definitive all encompassing collection spanning several generations. To inquire about the above stated collection, please send me a response by e-mail or leave a comment here on this board. By the way, PLEASE FOLKS, SERIOUS responses, are APPRECIATED but, any rude, mean or unkind replies placed here out of boredom, or for lack of having something more productive to do, are NOT appreciated. Please be kind, and respond in a respectful way folks. Thank you for your time and interest.
  8. This post is not a spoof, a joke or a scam but is absolutely 100% authentic in its entirety. 9. This is definitely not going to appeal to a lot of VCers, but for those of you who really enjoy electronic music, specifically 80's-style electro, house, trap music, or (especially) a combination of all of these things, this is an album to pay attention to. Scottish producer Rustie, whose last full-length Glass Swords is still one of my favorites of 2011, is finally releasing a new album. So far, the only pre-order option I've found is Bleep; it's a 2xLP and it's going for $28.99 plus shipping, presumably so expensive because it's an import. If a cheaper option pops up elsewhere, I'll update this post. Pre-order: https://bleep.com/release/52319-rustie-green-language Listen to the first single, Raptor: https://soundcloud.com/rustie/raptor ALSO! He's doing a short North America tour in late July/early August! Here are the dates: 07-23 Philadelphia, PA - The Dolphin Tavern 07-24 Atlanta, GA - Terminal West (King Plow Art Center) 07-25 New York, NY - Webster Hall 07-26 Montreal, Quebec - Le Belmont 07-30 Washington, DC - U Street Music Hall 07-31 San Francisco, CA - The Independent 08-01 Denver, CO - The 1up-Colfax 08-02 South El Monte, CA - Hard Fest
