  4. Zola Jesus Live At Roadburn 2018 is Zola Jesus first ever live album. Recorded at Roadburn Festival 2018 where Zola Jesus was invited by Jakob Bannon of Converge to play at his curated day. The album will be released on May 8th 2020 on all other digital channels. Also on May 8th 2020 pre-sales will start for the double vinyl and cd version. For a June 2020 release. Zola Jesus is the stage name of Russian American musician Nika Roza Danilova. Under the name Zola Jesus, she has released a number of genre bending EPs and albums. Her approach is a cross pollination of electronic/industrial, classical, and gothic sounds. All of it coming together as a dark and emotional artistic experience. Jacob Bannon (Converge) about inviting Zola Jesus for his curated day at Roadburn Festival 2018. “I first heard Nika’s work on the “Stridulum”  EP (Sacred Bones, 2010). Every aspect of the release connected with me and it soon became a daily listen. The record (and all of her work) was relatable and infectious. I’ve been an avid listener ever since. Watching her artistry grow and deepen over time has been inspiring. “Okovi”, the latest from Zola Jesus is such a powerful album. I am truly honored to have Nika and Company at Roadburn 2018 as part of my curation.” https://zolajesus.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-roadburn-2018 Zola Jesus: Nika Roza Danilova - vocals, synth Alex Degroot - guitar, electronics Louise Woodward - viola Mixed and mastered by James Plotkin Audio registration at Roadburn Festival 2018 by Marcel van de Vondervoort and his team Front sleeve artwork by Oejerum: http://www.instagram.com/oejerum/ Sleeve by Maurice de Jong

  20. Preorders for Flume's second album Skin have gone up in his online store and the Future Classic shop. Two pressings are available, the normal balck as well as limited edition purple marble vinyl which looks great with the album artwork. The price is steep ($65 AUD or $40 AUD) not including the added shipping costs so this won't be for everyone. If anyone else knows Future Classic releases though, this will sell out quick and be going for a pretty penny once gone. http://flumemusic.myshopify.com/ http://store.futureclassic.com.au/collections/frontpage/products/flume-skin-limited-edition-2lp
  21. Second pressing - transparent yellow /500 on Clay Pipe Music. The Hardy Tree is the musical project of Clay Pipe Music's founder Frances Castle, her first LP ' The Fields Lie Sleeping Underneath' was the initial release on the label over five years ago. Through Passages of Time soundtracks buildings and areas of London that no longer exist. Small places stumbled upon by accident, traced on maps, and illustrated in Georgian prints. Frequently visited pubs that have been rebuilt and renamed, the ship breakers yard decorated with wooden figureheads at Baltic Wharf, or the Thames Watermen living in the shadow of the Hawksmoor designed church at Horselydown. Lost places re-imagined and brought to life using clusters of sequenced Moogs, off Kilter electronics, vibes, and Mellotron - capturing the essence of the dark city and its more bucolic outer suburbs. This is a plaint to an older stranger London that is quickly becoming priced out and forgotten. Look carefully and clues to the ancient past can still be found.
  22. Miami Horror has repressed their debut album Illuminations on limited edition pink vinyl. The OG press goes for over $200 so I'm sure there are a few others who have been eagerly awaiting for it to be repressed. This release is a single LP while the OG was a 2xLP so I'll be curious to hear what the sound quality is like. Available at the Miami Horror shop. http://www.miamihorror.com/merch/illumination-vinyl-limited-re-release-on-colored-vinyl
  23. Granite Tapes, my indie cassette label from New Hampshire, is now open! We release bedroom pop, indie rock, electronic and hip hop from the New England area on limited runs of cassette tapes with alternate color variants. We've done everything to create the highest quality package possible - our tapes are professionally dubbed in real-time on chrome plus tape, housed by custom color shells featuring full-color labels with J-cards and clear cases. We individually hand-number each tape, wrap them in parchment paper and seal them in wax. We even toss in some New England real maple hard candy with each order. We already have quite a few releases lined up for the coming months, but our first is a fantastic local indie rock / folk album: Badfellows - The Happy Hunting Grounds Limited to 25 copies on campfire orange shells. "Heaven" Edition, limited to 10 copies on dark blue shells. [ON SALE NOW! Stream / Purchase via Bandcamp] Recommended FFO: Arcade Fire, Father John Misty ------------------------------------------------------- We'll be announcing our next release this week! It's a stupidly amazing, instrumentally focused experimental hip hop album that I'd recommend fans of Madlib and J Dilla to check out. Thanks for your time / support.
  24. Midnight Menu by Tokimonsta has been repressed on 500 copies of half orange/half blue vinyl. Two bonus tracks previously not on the first press vinyl release will be included as well. They are "simple reminder" and "death by disco". Super excited as this is one of my favorite hip hop/chill electronic albums. Copies are on hand ready to ship and can be ordered here: http://www.vinyl-digital.com/en/Beat-Art/Experimental-Abstract/Midnight-Menu-vinyl.html
