A project that began in late 2018 and wrapping up a year later in Winter of 2019, it is a dark and grim experiment in metal, noise, industrial, and ambient arenas of music. An absolute and complete disconnect from the genres in which he has served drumming duties for over the years, the end result; the debut full length record, "Accepting The New Normal". Produced and mixed by Rozell, the record features guest appearances from OXBOW front-man and Author Eugene S. Robinson, Jay Gambit (Crowhurst), Blake Harrison (Pig Destroyer), legendary French experimental composer Philippe Petit, and Slug Christ (An Isle Ate Her, Awful Records). The record also sees a final mastering treatment from Scott Hull (of Pig Destroyer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed fame) at Visceral Sound in Maryland. 4. Bitter Melody Records is excited to announce that we have partnered with Chris Taylor to create a series of fine art prints for his work. Chris is probably best known as the vocalist of Pg. 99 and Pygmy Lush, but his art is instantly recognizable by fans of heavy music, he has created iconic album artwork for Pig Destroyer, Darkest Hour, Pg. 99, Planes Mistaken for Stars, and many others. We have kicked around this idea of creating art prints for his work for about five years, but it has finally come together for us to start our print series. The first two screen prints in the series have already been produced, they are available at the Pg. 99 reunion shows now. We have split this print run in half. The online half will be available this week at the store link below on Thursday at 11am EST. The rest of this series will likely be sold online through Bitter Melody Records. "I Know Ya" is 18" X 24" and "I For an I" is 19" x 19" - Both are signed and numbered out of 50. Printed on Black Licorice Pop Tone French Paper 100lb Cover stock. It will be shipped in a Yazoo Mills tube wrapped in craft paper. For more information on the series and to stay in the loop you can follow Bitter Melody on Facebook and Instagram. @bitter_melody_records IG facebook.com/ bittermelodyrecords Store - http://bittermelodyrecords.limitedrun.com Here are some process pics before trimming. These look amazing in person.
  5. More about this below but we are pretty pumped on this. This EP rules. Mountain punk hardcore. We approved Dave's lacquers and it is headed for plating and pressing now. Founded in 2014, Asheville, North Carolina’s Dead Mothers have written a crushing debut EP. Life is Poison, due this summer on Bitter Melody Records. Along with the announcement, the band have released the new single "White Squaw" through New Noise Magazine. http://newnoisemagazine.com/song-premiere-dead-mothers-white-squaw/ Mixing their punk ethos, social awareness, and technical musicianship they have recorded 5 songs with Kris Hilbert at Legitimate Business in Greensboro, NC. The result is a tight, monumentally heavy EP. Life is Poison crosses genres of mathcore, grind, and sludge. This album will fit right in your collection between your Gaza, Knut, Pig Destroyer, and Converge albums. Tracklisting: 1. Nicodemus 2. White Squaw 3. Victim 4. Dead Mothers 5. Poison Dead Mothers is: Olive Ardizoni - vocals Mike Royal - bass Jordan Vermillion - drums Ryan Moon - guitar https://deadmothers.bandcamp.com/ https://www.facebook.com/deadmothersband http://www.bittermelodyrecords.com/ http://bittermelodyrecords.limitedrun.com/

  8. The debut 7" from Fulgora, Adam Jarvis's new band with his cousin, John Jarvis, and guitarist/vocalist BL LaMew, is now up for preorder. Get it from Cricket Cemetery or Fulgora's store, where you can also get a shirt or two. Strictly limited to 100 copies, so don't sleep. The A-side has a strong Pig Destroyer feel to it, very much technical and death-y while maintaining a grindcore feel to it. Stream it here: http://cricketcemetery.bandcamp.com/album/artifice-risen-7
