radiatorhums
Beyond Calculation - is an eight song LP (2014) from the Austerity Program. Their latest and favorite. Guitar, bass, vocals and drum machine all cranked through 3500 watts of power and lots of speakers. Songs about a despised albino, vengeful minor-deities and self-immolation. You would think we each grew up Catholic. Full analog recording and fingernail-pulling attention to detail. Like always Available in the following formats: 12" Vinyl (w/cd and download instructions) CD Free download (via Bandcamp) 1/4" analog tape available in four speeds: 3.75, 7.5, 15 or 30 ips. http://controlledburnrecords.com/catalog/releases/austerity-program-beyond-calculation-preorder-pack Listened to this a few times over the last couple days, it's a jammer. There's a stream on the order page.

Derek™
Should also put Steve Albini in that FFO "list", in my opinion. Album sounds like it personifies Shellac.

Derek™
Nice. And with that being said, I quite dig my first and only listen of this. It wasn't a focused listen, and I need to revisit it soon... but I could see myself picking it up on vinyl. The price and quality sound about right to me. I'm planning on ordering it in the near future. I checked discogs and it looks like the back catalogue is pretty small and reasonably priced too. I think I'm going to dive in over the summer. plasma36
Gonna check this out in a little bit. I've liked everything that band has done so I'm not worried about being disappointed.

deletedunknown
Essential band. I always thought they were one of the underrated Hydra Head bands. Glad to see love for them.
