Danh
I'm always scrambling around to find the most inexpensive copy of a record that I want. Sometimes, I buy a record, thinking that it's the cheapest price out there, only to find that it's cheaper somewhere else. This frustrates me to no end. Hope this isn't a stupid thread, but if anyone has seen a cheaper copy of these records, then let me know. The prices next to the albums are the lowest price I could find. They're already pretty low, but I just wanted to try my luck. The Misfits - Walk Among Us ($15) The Misfits - Static Age ($12) The XX - XX ($14) The XX - Coexist ($14) Poison Idea - Kings Of Punk ($15) Dead Boys - Young Loud and Snotty ($15) Don't know how this thread will go, but if it anyone else wants to request some records, then feel free to join in. Off topic - For those familiar with The XX, which of their albums is the better one?
tomfiend
Often, if you can get things from one distributor in a group, the money you save on shipping might negate any small difference in price between various other locales.

Definitely. I also run into that problem too. It seems that anytime I want a few albums, they're always seperated in different distros/stores, and I have no choice but to pay a shipping price for each. I have terribly bad luck when it comes to this, haha.
tomfiend
You can get all of the albums you want except for the dead boys record for 82 shipped from amazon, might be the best bet. Either that, or try a local store. niblips
JessA2295
I like The XX - XX the best personally. Coexist was good, but it had some hit and miss songs. On their first album it was solid from beginning to end. eskimosnow27

On their first album it was solid from beginning to end. Agree. I couldn't stop listening to the first one for weeks. The second wasn't quite there. Also suffered a bit from being 'more of the same' if that makes sense.

lexicondevil
Good choice on the Dead Boys. Got the original for 5 bucks at a swap meet, of course a long time ago. A classic that should be owned by anyone who enjoys punk rock music.
moonbeams
Any copy of Walk Among Us for $15 is going to be an absolute turd Rhino repress. You can get real sweet 1988 copies for $25.

Danh
Been lurking this thread. Thanks for all the replies. As tomfiend had mentioned, I'll probably just order most of these albums on Amazon. Thanks for the heads up about the Misfits' "Walk Among Us." I'll avoid the Rhino versions. moonbeams
