thebilljim
Hey y'all! I just released my first ever full length poetry collection, rebel hearts & restless ghosts out 2/12/2016 on Timber Mouse Publishing. I'm really excited about it, and wanted to share it with everyone here... I know it's not a record, but a lot of the poems in the book are heavily inspired by the punk & hardcore scene, so perhaps some of y'all can relate. Six years in the making “Rebel Hearts & Restless Ghosts” (Timber Mouse Publishing, 2016) is a book born of the mosh pit, the rust belt, the hardened soil of small town Pennsylvania. Inspired both by the isolation of rural living, and the community found in punk rock & hardcore, this first collection is filled with poems that had to first learn to scream before they could whisper, poems that tried their best to run before they could crawl. If you're interested, I have some sample poems from the book posted on my website (http://www.williamjamespoetry.com) The book is available for purchase directly from me through Storenvy, and I'm running a special discount for VC forum folks: use the code "VC2016" at checkout, and you'll get 20% off your order. You can also buy it through Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0989009238/ref=mp_s_a_1_1 Sidney Crosley

chkadea
Just read through all of the poems available and wanted to say that they were all very well done. That said, Monument was really exceptional, and probably my favorite of the bunch! Great job!
