Help pick the color of Alkaline Trio goddamnit

But apparently the artwork has been redone...so there most likely wouldn't be a confusion problem...

know people hate picture discs, but what about a clear picture disc with the trio heartskull in the middle? or maybe the clock???

yah everyone of the suggestions completely threw out the fact that it will have new artwork.

my suggestion although in the minority:

- NO UGLY SPLATTER/HAZE/DRIP/"EXPLOSION"/TRI-SPLITS OR ANY OF THAT GARBAGE. it looks so cheesy (and ugly) 90% of the time.

- go with solid or clear colors. swirls look ok SOMETIMES but i dont really want a Remains pt.2

- honestly i dont care if the color of the vinyl matches the artwork as long as its not on "ugly splatter" colored vinyl.

and this has nothing to do with the color of the vinyl but WHY 6 different colors? thats so damn many... and to have each out of 500? come one now.... 3 is usually good but 4 is even a lot, but 6?! come on now lets not get greedy.. they just know that the collector kids will buy all 6 regardless.

I have to agree with dietrootbeer that doing reissues on 6 colors is a bit much, although that didn't stop me preordering the new ETID in all 4 colors. I think I'll be limiting myself to the VC exclusive on this release.

EXCELLENT IDEA! No Idea should pick up this up and do AT LEAST 15 pressings with maybe 10 variations each press with 2 of those colors at about 5 pieces total.

I agree with dietrootbeer, I would really enjoy Goddamnit! on plain colors, like red, black, green, orange, etc. I don't really want to see any clear vinyl for this release either. I still do think a red/black swirl could be really nice though.

but if it was just 1 color i would choose 180gram blood red vinyl
