Wow...really? Frankly, the more polished sound is much better to me. The older stuff all kinda sounds the same, not that it's a bad thing, but I find the more recent stuff easier to listen to. I know I am in the minority on this, but I think they've gotten better. In this genre, EVERYONE loves the older stuff almost 90 percent of the time, but that's why I love HWM so much. I just like the raw sound of the old ones, they're all so powerful and emotional. the new stuff just sounds soulless and kinda generic to me. No Division sounds polished to me compared to the older stuff, but its still got the elements that made me obsessed with HWM back in the day. They gave me a ton of free 7"'s, but they weren't all different. Three different records, 2 of each, 3 of one of them. Free ones I got Well Fed Smile/The American Psycho Band Split (x3) Khmer Rogue - *not sure the title* (x2) Well Fed Smile - 71 Reasons to hate WFS (x2) The last one came in these really cool cloth sleeves.
