eddieruckus
you might need to file down the bridge?
lostatsea
^^True, or just stop rocking so hard. I was friends with a kid who would almost religiosly break strings about two songs in. We used to bet shots on it. It was awesome.
vodkablast
shouldn't $1,500 guitars work correctly? But for real. I can't see what kind of bridge you have since it has a cover on it, but you probably have to file the saddle like eddie said, or look into replacement saddles. I had a guitar that did this, always at the bridge, and I replaced the saddles with less sharp tipped ones and it fixed the problem. You have a rickenbacker, you are in Against Me! right... not. controlthebleeding
well maybe you should get some balls and stop playin' 8's and start playing 13's!

steventangent
you may need to replace the bridge saddle.
birdwell
pick up some Graphtek (sp?) saddles to replace the stock ones...OR get out a nice magnifying glass and find the burr on the saddle then grab some fine grit sandpaper and carefully sand down the burr
vodkablast
or you could switch the A saddle with another string's and see if you still have a problem, troubleshoot it before you buy stuff.
scotterson
dont know what kind of guitar you use, or how new it is, but if you bought it new, take it to the shop. this happened to me (D string) and they filed it for free, took all of five minutes, never happened again. i wouldnt say you need to replace all your saddles unless more of them start giving you trouble.
