rivalcycle Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 I think the '59 Sound is a great album, but the reverb on the vocals really, really gets to me sometimes. this. also - does it seem to anyone else like the gaslight anthem are going backwards? in my mind it feels like 59 sound could have been their first record with sink or swim being their newest. i've seen them more times than i can count (seeing as i'm from the same town/city) and while i haven't seen them for myself yet - i will on the rise against tour, though - it seems like they've toned down the intensity of their show and brian's doing this weird vibrato-ish type thing with his voice that i'm finding annoying (from videos on youtube) we shall see!
