I also believe that there is a famicon to nes and vise versa adaptor. This would be a cool little mod to make.

desensitizedbyu
I got a Dreamcast disc a while back that plays all NES and SNES games, and the group that he was with that did those even made their own games and they put them on there too. I got it when Gmail was still hard to come by on a site called gmailswap or something. It's amazing.

destroyingthescene
I've seen a lot of pretty sweet NES mods on gadget sites, it makes me wish I was a little more handy with electronics. Also, I wish I was a little bit taller...

kirbypuckett
i want to make a NES computer. probably will if i ever pick up a junk system. When I worked @ CompUSA a kid and his father came in and showed me theirs. It was awesome, but you'll need a small board and a micro atx power supply and that. So it'll be harder to come by a junk system like that. I have an old laptop that plays NES games fine, I should gut that.
littlejonnyhormone
I have 2 NES's that work and around 100 cartridges. I am grateful for that every day.

I also think an xbox can fit inside a NES if you make the power supply external. So you could do that and just put a NES emulator on it and make some controller adapters. That'd probably be cheaper then building a small micro atx system.
