CD releases you'd love on vinyl but won't happen

Recommended Posts

not obscure but my top wants on vinyl are:

at the drive-in - acrobatic tenement

at the drive-in - el gran orgo

i think the coop tried but got turned down on acrobatic tenement. these will probably never happen since they're probably the least popular atdi records

I believe El Gran Orgo was released on vinyl. I could be wrong.

shit if it was i'm gonna lose my mind trying to find a copy. i've never seen one pop up anywhere.

Oh and if I were rich, I would personally press T.W. Walsh - Blue Laws. I asked Tim about it before and he just said it's a matter of money basically. Which is completely understandable, 2 grand for something that probably would be hard to sell more than a couple hundred copies is a stretch. But that album means a shitload to me, and it's amazing.

Also, Seldom - Places I Haven't Seen. Don't know why I didn't think of these in my prior post.

All the Armchair Martian stuff

most of this was pressed to vinyl. there's a 7", 10", and LP.

I don't know which tunes Virgil re-released. or if they are unreleased tunes.

There's a bunch of their stuff that never made it to vinyl. "Hang On Ted", "Who Wants to Play Bass?", etc.

both albums from The White Octave

The Good Life - Novena on a Nocturn

Menergy has been pressed. I spent 2 years searching the web for it...and finally found it from a small UK distro for 6 pounds ppd. Just got it in the mail yesterday. They NEVER show up on online...they all must be hiding in used shops and proudly held on to by owners...and rightfully so.

Just wanted to let you know I'm putting that TW vinyl out hopefully later this year. Might be early 2010 though.

I fucking adore Seldom also. Trying to get him to record more records under that moniker!

Cheers,

Ryan Graveface
