nickz123
Anyone have any of Zao's vinyl for sale or know a source? It seems really hard to find. Thanks in advance. -Nick
benchwarmer
I saw this earlier today... http://cgi.ebay.com/ZAO-ALL-ELSE-FAILED-ORIGINAL-STEADFAST-PRESSING-OOP_W0QQitemZ320143345898QQihZ011QQcategoryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
xfedaykinx
i will be so disappointed in the world if he gets $275 for that cd
lokithelion
A girl just sold one for 275 but it got that high because of bids.
xfedaykinx
my god. i find i often grossly underestimate the zealousness of southern christian hardcore kids.
altarsofradness
someone paid almost 300 bucks for a zao cd? i'd mention something about a coming apocalypse, but i think it would be a bit contradictory
benchwarmer
oh man I didn't even realize that was a CD...hahahaha...that's rediculous
lokithelion
southern? dude Zao isn't southern... That being said Zao fans (myself included) are pretty nuts. This last record is one of my favorite metal albums ever and I'd probably shit if I saw it on wax.
xfedaykinx
the 'southern' was a reference to the 'christian hardcore kids' not zao themselves but thats definitely a conversation i dont want to get into.

dim
I sold a Brand New cd for $200 a month ago, not sure why anyone wants a cd that bad but I'm in no way complaining.
altarsofradness
i had never heard of brand new until i got to this board, but apparently i really fucked up by not investing in their cds/records because they all seem to get sold for hundreds of dollars. vinyljunkie
zao was never really pressed on vinyl. Their newer stuff at least. splinter shards was on LP, and there was a 7" split with training for utopia. i think thats it. i wish more was pressed on vinyl. viperviper
quick! everyone badger virgil into pressing 'the funeral of god' and 'the fear is what keeps us here.' they're both on ferret, you know.
vinyljunkie
definitely do NOT put the fear.... on vinyl. let that die and be put to rest. i would however, love to see where blood and fire on vinyl

They also have a split 7" with Through and Through titled Treadwater. I think it was their first release. I have a copy on red. Not looking to get rid of it though. I don't think the Training for Utopia split was pressed. Oh, and I have the $275 All Else Failed CD. It is my favorite Zao album. Not looking to sell that either. christopherods
there is also a split 7" with outcast called "the tie that binds' which was released by steadfast. i dont recall if either the split with outcast or through & through features the very first singer erik (i think that was his name) who never recorded anything else with the band. i have all the zao vinyl (lp & both 7"s, i dont believe the training split was ever pressed on vinyl format) I would love to release "where blood & fire" on lp but i am not so sure if Tooth & Nail would be willing to license it off. its on my list of records to inquire about, well that and the 7 Angels lp. just trying to get this hopesfall ep out first!
