Guest abravemorning
Does this annoy anyone else? Sure it might help sellers sell an item, but it's really misleading and discouraging to me. When I search for Bane records on eBay and only 3 listed items are actually from Bane, there's a problem. Maybe I'm just looking for reasons to hate eBay. Anyone feel the same? minty
Yeah it's very annoying.

Guest scriptedrain
I've always felt this way. There are some that are just way-the-fuck out there too.
celebdeath
i like it. i get to find loads of other like-minded records when i do a particular search.
mrc
when you are a seller you need to drive traffic to your auctions. I dont really mind, its been done since i started using ebay 8 years ago so i guess im used to it.

patron
I don't mind it when it's just keywords at the end, but when they do it before what you're actually buying, I get annoyed.
kurtz
I hate it when someone just makes a list of bands and you can't tell what the item even is. Other than that, I don't mind keywords.
jawbreaker
The band spamming usually reminds me to check the latest auctions for that band. I get annoyed with the listings for CDs that throw in LP, 12" and 7" in the title. It's a CD, not anything else. It would be like throwing in jacket, pants, underwear at the end of a T-shirt listing. Guest falloutcollapse
I really don't mind, unless it's like "THURSDAY THRICE JAMES BROWN SHIRT CD M L XL RARE NEW OI!"
adamlikesmusic
I've actually gotten some great deals through keywords. Would've never found them otherwise.
markalark17
I hate it when band shirts end up in the record section. It's stupid.
mattisr1984
i dont mind it at all. its not much different than a record store sorting records by genre. they do that because obviously you might be interested in something else sitting on the same shelf. or in ebay sellers case, on the same site. i actually find its a good way to see some other stuff thats floating around on ebay without me having to think of every single thing id like to search for. with that said, and like someone else mentioned, my only pet peeve w/ it is when someone lists a band t shirt or something and they put "lp" in the listing title so it pops up w/ a bunch of records. dietrootbeer
i enjoy it actually. i find things that i like accidently because of this.. or things i would otherwise forget to search for. keyword "spamming" is backed.
thischarmingham
I'm chill with adding stuff like punk/emo/indie/hardcore etc because I often search on ebay using stuff like "punk 7" and just browse what comes up. I think it's really shitty to do the whole "LP not CD or 7"" thing. I won't bid on stuff like that. I feel like the person has already started out on a bad foot by jerking me around on the auction title.
