psychoriley
I think this movie looks good. I think all of Tarantino's movies are great, especially Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Violent and funny. I'll be seeing this for sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sQhTVz5IjQ&NR=
blupenguin
Got some pretty shitty reviews so far though. Its almost all dialogue, boring dialogue.
circlingvultures
I'll probably pick it up on DVD.
psychoriley
That sucks, I havn't even checked out the reviews yet....I should have read them 1st. The trailer looks good....but yes I had almost forgotten about the great trailer for shitty movie bits. I would have to say I wasn't to happy with Death Proof, one of the Grindhouse features.. I thought that was kind of a flop. But Planet Terror by Robert Rodriguez was great, it was a LOT better than Death Proof.
circlingvultures
I love Death Proof. I don't think it's one of the best movies ever but I have been watching it a lot lately.
psychoriley
It wasn't a reservoir or pulp though...those two blow Death Proof out of the water...now I have been meaning to watch it again. I saw them in the theater and by the time Death Proof came on I was pretty tired and it seemed pretty drawn out.
circlingvultures
No, of course it wasn't. I'm by no means a movie buff or a Tarantino fanboy though so I just enjoyed it as a chill movie. It had a great soundtrack and plenty of eye candy.
kurtmanner
I'm pretty sure I heard Murder By Death at the end of the preview on TV. Anyone? Edit: It is. It's in the second full length trailer too.
xlovecolouredx
i just saw a translated in thai subtitle of the inglorious basterds wehn i watched public enemy. i don't think the film distributor copywrite should call this film as 'crazy strike back to nazi' because this is not a period film and i don't think the basterd gang ever happend in that period. this may make many people understand in a wrong thing.... username
i wish they would release death proof and grindhouse as one set, complete with the fake movie trailers
phantommaggot
The trailers were the best part.
cadetapplesauce
i really hate how they emphasize that "you haven't seen a war film until you've seen it through the eyes of quentin tarantino." let the fucking trailer/movie speak for itself. mcm1610
I don't know if I want to see this. I like Brad Pitt, I like WWII, but I've never liked Tarantino's movies. His camera shots and dialogue annoy me to the point that all his films are unwatchable.

mcm1610
While not technically a movie, I like Band of Brothers more than Saving Private Ryan just for the reality. SPR was my favorite movie forever but I've watched it so much that I can pick out all the inaccuracies, and Dale Dye is a moron.
cadetapplesauce
saving private ryan and band of brothers were fucking brilliant. best ever.
psychoriley
Saving Private Ryan was a good film.....I never did finish watching Band of Brothers, That was the one with the guy from friends right.....I just couldn't see him playing any other role, so It wasn't hard to not finish... mcm1610
Plus, he's really believable as the insecure dickhead that everyone hates in BoB. It's really the best WWII production ever done, I think.

Alright, I'll try it again....yeah I didn't get far into it, plus I am always running out of shit to watch at blockbuster so it would be something to check out rather than wondering around the store saying what should we rent??? Me and my girlfriensd end up doing this at least 3 or 4 times a week.

steventangent
Yeah. Maybe it's because I've never sat through an episode of Friends, but I thought dude was pretty good in Band of Brothers. I understand not being able to see anyone outside of a role that huge, but yeah. Dude turned in a solid performance. Also, I'm not sure, but he might be in episode 2. and he play such a huge asshole, you can't really help but forget about Ross.
