gravitylovesdrunks Posted August 10, 2008 Author Share Posted August 10, 2008 guys: major disappointment. i sent in my $600 deposit and shipped the plates a few weeks ago. about a week and a half ago, i got a call from the plant informing me that the plates do not fit on their presses (they obviously didn't cash the cheque). the plates were once intended for MMS Direct, a pressing plant in canada that shut down in late 2007- totally fucked. as it stands, i have message mike wessel (the awesome dood i got the plates from) to see if he still has the lacquers, but i'm pretty sure he doesn't check VC very often. i'm super fucking bummed out, and even though this is a huge blow to the project, i am still going to try to see if there's any way this can still be worked out. i plan on contacting the band very shortly.
