roadmonkey
From What I've Heard, I'm pretty sure Relapse is doing this. I hope there's a 180 Gm blue version

jordan999
Hyperrealist isn't doing it. I asked Pat already. Relapse is handling it. So it'll be more expensive and less impressive packaging than necessary.

So it'll be more expensive and less impressive packaging than necessary. and impossible to get the rarest version, and your order that you placed when the pre-order first went up will probably get lost due to 'database error' and you'll miss out on a copy altogether (happened to me with the latest High On Fire record)

northernfailure
Relapse is usually pretty good about getting releases out on vinyl when the CD comes out or soon after. I'm stoked as hell for this either way. Anyone know what happened to a First/Second 2XLP that was supposed to happen on Hyperrealist? Guest kylewilliam
not a 2xLP, its one LP with FIRST on A and SECOND on B. should be out later this year.
kurtz
Can't wait for the First/Second record. Those are Baroness' best records. I got into Baroness shortly after Second came out. First was already oop and I didn't want to spend the amount it was going for on ebay at the time, ~$20..... I regret not buying it back then. I had no idea the band was going to blow up like they did. :-/
northernfailure
I had the first pressing of "Second"... but I sold it for like $55 on eBay after I found out it was going to be repressed with "First". And I needed money really bad. I just heard the new song on their myspace... so good!
damagdsole
fuck you guys.the red album looks great on hyper realist. totally worth the wait. i had a buddy get his after waiting over a year. and he only got it after he found pat's AIM name and started bugging him on there. jordan999
it took a while for a few people to get theirs. shit happens, its mail order from a small label run by one guy. he tried his best to make it all right, and that was very visible. it took me about a year to get mine, and i've waited more than a few months for other (far less impressive) records. even after all that, i still back hyperrealist and would much rather have him press this. kurtz
Relapse always does a nice job with their records. I have no problem at all with them pressing it.

eddieruckus
its really weird but I seriously got mine about 2 weeks after ordering, I ordered one when he put the few extras on the site
mcnail
I never got my copy. Agreed, FUCK Hyperrealist. It's amazing what people are ok with, I mean, could that release have gone any worse? There are plenty of one-man operations out there that perform perfectly (Init Records, I'm looking at you). Fuuuuuuck Hyperrealist.
