i spent the better part of the day once just researching this cuz the wiki made it sound so bizarre and interesting. sadly, there are logical (mostly) scientific explanations for the great majority of things they present as being impossible/otherworldly. i'll have to find the link to the article(s).

that being said....why hasn't there been a movie made about this yet?!
