drinker
hey endon6- I just spent some time in Belfast a couple of months ago. Just out of curiosity- Catholic or Protestant? we were there during the tall ships festival, and it was really cool. saw europa and the pub across the street(drawing a blank on the name). also checked out the mall w/the observation deck. it was cool that you could see the whole city. we also saw all the murals on the protestsant side, as well as some of the murals on the catholic side and the sinn fein building. xjustinxschwierx
the SLEEP burger... Yet another seasonal upshot: Kuma's Corner has reintroduced their Thanksgiving behemoth — turkey and gravy crowned with a hockey puck of deep-fried stuffing and a circlet of cranberry sauce. Named Sleep, ostensibly after the stoner doom metal band, BTSiC hypothesizes that it's just as much a nod to the trypophan payload. A bonus for those who (like us) aren't fans of tart red jello: we hear the cranberry sauce is coming on the side this year. fueledbymike
yo when you take the metra if you are, make sure to buy a ticket at the station if there is an attendant, otherwise they charge you an extra $2 bucks per ride. and also if your taking the CTA buy a One Day Pass http://www.transitchicago.com/travel_information/fares/unlimitedridecards.aspx theres a link for buying locations they are great, you can ride the CTA as much as you want for a day, so it would be nice to take it to and from the show, and maybe if your free take it to a nice diner or something after, take advantage of seein the city
endon6
I guess you were in the Crown bar? it's not a bad spot I tend to end up in Katy Daly's more, mostly cause it's next to my flat. If any of you happen to end up in Belfast give me a shout we'll get a pint! Edited March 23, 2022 by endon6 old
