benchwarmer
Hometown Throwdown was this series of shows that the Bosstones did for 9 years straight where they play for a week at a venue in Boston. it's quite awesome.

sgoodcore
Met Dickey backstage at Kimmel once - he does or did the announcing for the show. He seems quite cool and relaxed. A friend of mine went up to him and thanked him for writing the soundtrack of his high school years for him. Needless to say we were both intoxicated. benchwarmer
Dickey is a great guy. I worked for the Bosstones for 3 of the throwdowns (that's how I got to go to all the shows). it got to the point where all the bosstones knew who me and my friends were. jhulud
Hey Chris...are you 100% going? If so, I may hit you up to hang out and throw back a few brews (or preferred drink of choice) once I iron out plans to head up for this.

jhulud
One thing I just thought of...is Nate Albert going to be playing guitar with them for these shows? Or is it the guy that replaced him?
broonage
I am mega jealous. Let's hope they get back together for real and do an album!
kirbypuckett
Dicky is one of the nicest guys I've met in music. He stopped and talk to my friends and I for a few minutes at a huge festival one year. I wouldn't want to talk to a bunch of 15 year olds, but I thought it was great that he took the time to do so.
