coldsnap
since november. this is really surprising me, since i couldn't spent a week without ordering a record. so it's been about 2 months i didn't order anything, and there is tons of records i'd want but i need to keep my money for my trip. sooo what's the longest you went without buying any records? kurtz
I've slowed down my buying several times but I have never stopped buying all together for any extended period of time. I think maybe around 2 weeks might be the longest I've gone without buying anything.
sonix
I'd say three weeks.. mostly because I had no money and there was nothing that I had to have at the time.
mrc
i would say about a year or so when i was in college. Recently i would say about 3 weeks
rtw88
I don't think I've bought any in 2-3 months. Maybe longer. I'm super broke, and I've got to pay for a 7"/possible tour plus I'm graduating after this semester. I'll actually probably be unloading my collection soon. bruins4ever
I hadn't bought anything since probably late September, but broke that streak on Dec. 30th for my b-day. I'm a student, and unfortunately I have more important things to spend my money on when I'm in school. However, since I'm beginning my paid coop term next week, I'll be dropping probably $100 in the next week or so (I need the new Thrice, Baroness, Converge, etc.)
againstmatt
I'm total newbie to vinyl and I've had my turntable for almost a year now, but I just got in to VC and stuff and since november I've made an order almost twice a week. The most exciting part of the week.
jimmythescumbag
I am also in the "can't buy right now because I am broke" category, but when I get my financial aid, I will be picking up a few things. I am hoping to avoid going crazy like I have the last few semesters. I think I am going to mainly focus on trying to complete a couple of collections, as opposed to buying/pre-ordering everything that I think I would enjoy (regardless of having heard the band or not). moonbeams
10 years, I'm not sure why, but from 1998 till last summer I didn't listen to or have a record player. I think I didn't know how to take care of records when I was in high school and got sick of all the clicks and pops and gave it up

swoopdog
About a week. Nah like 3 or 4 days. How do people go a couple months?
