This article is kind of sad. No wonder the town is a piece of shit. The mayor can't bother themself to show any interest in the first business to open up in 4 years.

Best of luck to Chris anyways. It would be cool if he could make this work.

while it is a noble gesture, my question is this. Does a dying town need a coffee shop that doesn't open until 10am? You're missing the 2/3 of the workforce that would stop in on their way to work. You're also providing a luxury service, not a necessity. Just doesn't seem like the best way to be helping to me.
