magalvsr13
hey, so im looking at getting some skullcandy earphones and was wondering if anyone has had good/bad experiences with them and what would be the kind to get. for now i just need some decent earbuds for my ipod, but i might get some of the over-ear ones later so ill take any advice for those too. basically i just need ones that fit comfortably and not fall out while i use them to run/bike. i know some people love these while other people dont but im only really looking at skullcandy right now because i can get a sweet discount on them. thanks for any help! zac
I wouldn't get them. I bought some and took them back just because I didn't like the way they fit but from what I've read they are pretty crappy and break easily.
dutchrudder
They're good as far as sounds goes. I've had two pairs so far and they both lasted about 4-5 months before they shorted out.
desensitizedbyu
My friend got me a pair, they're the stereo ones, not buds, and they don't fit for shit and fall of my head if I look down. I don't have an abnormal head, swear.
funsize
the ear buds are pretty decent, sound alright and they have different size inserts for fit. Every pair I've owned has quit working, which is highly annoying, but they replace them for free.
rtw88
I got the ear buds once and all of the sizes fit like crap.
Guest errolwest
I've had a few pairs of the ear buds, they fit great, but there was way too much treble, it drove me crazy. Other than that, not bad.
AlexH.
Don't buy them. They're the Bose of low-priced headphones. I have these. They sound great, are cheap, and do not fall out. http://www.amazon.com/JVC-HAFX66B-Cushion-Headphones-Black/dp/B000WH83AA

steventangent
Hey Jon, have you thought about maybe some nice Audio-Technica earbuds?
steventangent
For real though, Cnet gave skullcandy pretty decent marks compared to other brands about halfway through this video review : which surprised me, because so many people talk shit about them. scotterson
I've only had one pair, they were earbuds. They fit alright, but sounded not so alright and died after about a month. They were cheap, but I still would not buy skullcandy anymore.
axlrose
I had a set, they were recommended on hear a while back. The sound was fine and the ear buds even fit pretty well. My main complaint is that the cord had a big ass plastic tab where it split from the single cord, to the individual chord for each ear. This mean that anytime I did something rhythmic or repetitive (walking) it would start swaying pretty heavily. If I tried running it basically bounced up and down pulling on my ears. For sitting and desk work though they were pretty decent.

jhog3411
I have a pair of skull candy ear buds and I like them. I would not get them if you plan to use them while exercising though. They fall out way too easily when I'm running. Try to find ear buds/headphones that have that over the ear thing to keep them in place
kyleevanswastaken
If they arent gonna cost you much then buy a few pairs, or but a decent pair with a detachable cord.
