flood
the most i ever paid for a show was $40 to see REM + Radiohead, and $35 to see Tori Amos + Ben Folds. I was going to pay Mike Park $100 to play my living room, but the CT show got cancelled when his agent got him on a string of ALK3 shows. lokithelion
I'd pay 100 if I could see Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in a 400 person club tour. Together.
benchwarmer
The bands I'd pay $100 to see are all dead. (Ramones, Clash, Johnny Cash). I did see Joe Strummer in a not so big place ones. That was amazing.

riddle350
I'd pay 100 if I could see Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in a 400 person club tour. Together. I can't even begin to imagine how crazy that would be if that actually happened.

boizee
Well, I would have to say Hot Water Music. I know they toured a lot, but I only really got into them about three years ago, so missed out completely. That being said, I am flying to Orlando to see them next month, so I HAVE paid more than $100 to see someone play. My vote would've been for The Clash. xjustinxschwierx
I would absolutely pay $100 or more to see Tom Waits. He rarely ever performs and his music is so amazing that I know it would be a wonderful experience. i paid a LOT more than a $100 for my ticket to see tom waits and i don't regret it because it was one of the greatest shows i've ever seen. it is somewhat different when flying/travelling to shows because for me, i view them as mini vacations...i do this more often than i care to admit, but every single one of them has been worthwhile: Fest 6 Washington DC to see Report Suspicious Activity Houston for OP!!! record release and aaron dangers b-day party w/ chuck ragan playing New York to See Grey Area Reunion at CBGBs New york to see KYI Last Shows New york to see Silent Majority Reunions Louisville to see Avail Louisville to see By the Grace of God Reunion San Diego to see last RFTC show LA to see the Hootenany in 2001(Social D, Chuck Berry at Irvine Meadows) not including tours and closer long distance drives. I was telling people I'd pay $1000 to see the Police play a small club...cause i'd certainly not ever pay $100+ for a stadium show. i think there are a lot of factors but venue is definitely one of them. xjustinxschwierx
for the record, i'd pay $1000 to see Springsteen in a small bar/club. no surprise there to some people who know me.

jochert
I saw Bruce Springsteen last saturday in Arnhem in Holland, I paid a little more than 80 euro's for the tickets(normal price), that's about 115 US$..... Great fucking show by the way....and the most i've ever payed for a show (except festivals)
inutil
I would have to pay more than U$100 if i wanted to see all the board members(the ones who actually post something) together.
andrews
bands like minor threat or black flag playing in 2007 would be so disappointing. I'd gladly pay $100 to see them both back in the day. Other than that I guess I'd probablly pay $100 to see: -American Football -Refused -Kid Dynamite uh, probably a bunch more. its barely 9:00 am, i can't think. faith
I'd pay $100 to see - Matchbook Romance reunion - Les Cowboys Fringants at St. Jean Baptiste in the Twin Cities (would never happen, though)
andrews
also, just to be a dick, I've seen Arcade Fire and Isis both is small venues.
lechevre
Smoking Popes The Falcon The Lawrence Arms I've seen them in small places, but I'm guessing at $100 a pop it'd weed out most of the dicks.... (except the falcon-I've only seen them in a mid size club)
cadetapplesauce
there's this one crazy dude who goes to all the larry arms shows here. dude's even got a time flies tattoo... but he's a total jerkoff in the pit. sad to say, but i have the feeling the $100 wouldn't weed him out. lechevre
Heh...maybe he relocated from Chicago! There used to be a dude like that out here. Brendan even called him out on it a few times during the set. It was quite hilarious.
cadetapplesauce
yeah.. i wouldn't pay $100 for a larry arms show unless it was the last one. or a reunion. buttttt... that's just me. i'd just tell myself, "there'll be other, cheaper shows that they're gonna play." but i see what you're saying. there are some real dicks in those lawrence arms crowds.
