morfiend
Anybody pick one of these up yet? It's a little spendy but I couldn't resist. http://www.mofi.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=148#details Apparently, its also available on a remastered gold disc CD as well. devinr
I love that album but don't really want to drop 40 bucks.
morfiend
One of my local record stores is trying to sell one for $65 lol

celebdeath
got one from amazon for $39. will get around to listening to it when my mate ships it to me. awesome album. MOFI do fantastic jobs on their records, so i'm very keen to hear how its come out.
Japes
That is eeeexpeeeensiiiive. But it's FNM, it's totally worth it.
damagdsole
ill eventually have to buy this but yeah $40 is really a bummer. but such a great record.
Dillhole
This is very tempting. It would officially be the most expensive brand new record I ever bought, but this seems worth it.
frank
the release is totally worth it. sturdy gatefoldsleeve, ricepaper sleeves and an amazing sound. the whole package is so fucking heavy, you would believe it´s a 3xLP. totally worth every single penny
manicdogbert
i'm not a FNM fan but i do know that the MoFi reissues i have (Pixies, Elvis Costello) sound fucking amazing. listening to Doolittle felt like hearing it for the first time. it was very well done. thoughtriot
Wasn't this released a year or two back or is it a rerelease of the MoFi version? I bought it around a year ago (and yeah, its a great recording of a great album)
Dillhole
I buckled down and ordered it. I have been pretty low on the purchases lately so I don't feel too bad dropping that much cash on a single album. I just ordered it through ElusiveDisc though. A tad cheaper due to less shipping charges, and I get stuff from them insanely quick, and great packing. celebdeath
Wasn't this released a year or two back or is it a rerelease of the MoFi version? I bought it around a year ago (and yeah, its a great recording of a great album) there were initial delays with the MOFI 2LP version, but as i understand it, this is the only press MOFI have done for it. the gold CD thing has been out a while though. headtowall
little to pricey for me. i wish it was The Real Thing
xjustinxschwierx
yeah at $40, this is just encouraging the problem over overcharging for records. Though, I'm sure the practicality of licensing a record like this comes into play on top of the deluxe packaging.

I bought it around a year ago (and yeah, its a great recording of a great album) If this one is /2000 I suppose it's a second press. The one they put out a year or so ago was /3000. Awesome release. They should give The Real Thing the same treatment.
morfiend
Real Thing is a solid record but I think creatively FNM really took it up a notch with Angel Dust.

planetrakis
Considering the OG UK press was much more before the MOFI release, 40 bones for this is a steal.
