AlexH.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be in SD for a business trip. Any good music stores/restaurants/shows happening? Keep in mind that I'm 20 and can't go to bars or anything else fun.
dynamitekid
M Theory is a pretty cool store. Record City is ok. Lucha Libre Taco Shop is amazing but since it was on man vs food, it has really long lines. It all depends on where you are staying so...where are you staying? djones0930
Haha I was going to start this thread because I'm flying out the 22nd thru the 28th and was wondering the same thing, except I'm 22. I'm visiting my sister who lives on some military base..she'll be out the weekend, which leaves me her jeep. thank you sis.

AlexH.
I'm getting trained in to basically become the webmaster for my dad's company. The place that's redesigning it is in San Diego, in the house that was used in The Real World San Diego apparently. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn right on the bay. Thanks for the suggestions dudes. Unfortunately I don't have a car so it looks like most record stores are like an hour walk, and I work until 6 so they'd all be closed. djones0930
Well I just got back from Westfield Mall and their Hot Topic had so much shit.. Picked up Brand New D&G since my last one was severely warped from my HT...this one's not too bad The awesome manager gave me the newest Crystal Method for $4 since it was out of packaging and on clearance The Pearl Jam Ten redux was only $9 so I picked up that shit too They had the Red copy of Rancid's repress which he said goes for about $30 on ebay, and the Andrew Jackson Jihad Holiday Inn which I didn't even know about...I was in there for an hour or so just chatting about vinyl and various bands. Good time. My bro in law is on the Miramar Air Station which he showed me last night...he also showed me the 2nd largest helicopter in the world haha -- yeah it's fucking huge So far I've been here for almost 24 hours and have picked up some good records, drank PBR, and almost stepped on a gecko....doin' pretty fucking good. Now I just gotta find shit for this weekend.

djones0930
I'm over off Mercer Road...it's some nice apartment complex called Montierra Apartments....The Vons nearby is pretty badass...I got a 32 oz sub for $5 -- beat that Subway!
djones0930
I'm thinking about going to the Casbah tomorrow night since I just checked out the calendar and some band named Sleepy Sun is playing with Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound...I checked them out -- they're both psychedelic bands like Dead Confederate, so I might go since it's about 20 min from me. Plus, it'll be only $10. The dog beach (Ocean Beach) was fucking great today...and some dude's bulldog shit in the ocean Slowly but surely I'm finding shit to do (or see) I'll continually post pointless shit here just in case someone else happens to visit San Diego for whatever reason haha
aviolentworld
man i love san diego. my tattoo artist moved out there for a few months and i went out there to get my tat colored in. i can't remember where i stayed but it was by sea world if i remember correctly. i would walk to pacific beach (about an hour walk) every day and met him down there after he got done with work. can't remember that main stretch of road but there was a ton of stores. the weather was fucking tits too. it was hot during the day but as soon as the sun went down it was around 75ish. absolutely loved that city. Damn that does sound great...once my sister gets back, I believe we'll either check out the zoo or sea world, either way I'm sure it's 1000x better than anything in Virginia...also I believe Pacific Beach will be in the plan too As for the weather, apparently I got here during the 'cold' times -- it's a high of about 70 (feels fucking great) and a low of 60 which feels so god damn cold since I'm used to 80 degree humid heat in VA I noticed you're from Cleveland...apparently I have an hour or so layover at around 5 am...does their airport have anything awesome I should check out? haha
dynamitekid
That street in Pacific Beach is Garnet. There's a lot to do there. At night, it becomes a train wreck of bros and hoes who have just turned 21.
