I am trying to sell my record collection as quickly as possible as I'm moving out of the states in 5 weeks and can't afford a storage unit or anything like that. I have books, dvds, posters, comic books, video games and stuff too that if you're interested in you can pm I guess. I know I am new here and I don't know anybody and none of you know me. I understand it's a risky thing to buy and sell to people you don't know so please bear with me here. Thank you. All of these records are in unwarped and very very clean condition. I have not noticed any scratches while playing these records, but as I mainly have them for the sake of collecting I haven't really listened to any of them all that much so as to keep them in as good of condition as I can. To my knowledge none of these are reprints and are all originals. I will be packing these records by hand with the highest quality packing supplies, and I will be sending via UPS with insurance. I will have to calculate the shipping charges once you tell me what you want. hori Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 agreed about paypal being good to buyers, his latest email to me said he sold the entire lot to one person instead, may as well file your claim now unless you are the one who bought them all. the guy also was brand new to paypal, didn't even have an account yet, not saying it is a scam but don't bother dealing with this guy if you want to avoid the hassles. danthemjfan23 Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 it's actually a pretty smart way to scam if you're gonna do it, i guess. it makes you seem legit, like you've already sold some records. i did find it weird, however, that he read my PM right away and didn't respond til 2 days later. even though i know i was one of the very first to PM him (a few hours before you did, icecream), i figured maybe he was waiting to see if he got better offers than his low prices. paypal gives you 45 days to file a claim. i know this might be stupid, but i'm going to wait a few weeks before i open mine. you never know... sleepy Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 thousandjulys - hori PMed me yesterday cause he was suspicious that the guy wasnt legit and asked if the dude offered to sell me the grandaddy recs i listed in my first pm, cause hori had already paid for them. i PMed the guy and he said grandaddy was still available. anyway, what i'm trying to say is that i think someone else bought sophtware slump too. and for what its worth, as of lunchtime yesterday, the guy told me all of the boc was still available...dont know when you paid for it. I am having a hard time keeping up with all of this in PMs so everybody who has already paid is getting their money back as someone said they wanted to buy every album I had listed. it's just going to be simpler this way. I am so sorry for getting your hopes up and stuff guys. I thought I could keep track of all of this through pms and stuff and it just got out of hand with over 50 pms the first day...
