Jazz Music & Records Thread

I don't know much about fusion besides some of the more obvious musicians: RTF, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Al Di Meola, Weather Report, etc... Out of those I seriously recommend Return to Forever. A few years ago I got to see Chick, Stanley Clarke, and Lenny White play when I was going to school up in Buffalo, and I doubt I'll ever see a better group of musicians play together in my life. My favorite album of theirs is 'Light as a feather' however I believe a good majority see 'Romantic Warrior' as being their best. Adding to the general discussion, my favorites are the second Miles quintet, Dave Brubeck Quartet, and Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. -

Why would you use a speedbox with the RPM 1.3? Switching speeds on that table is ez pz. -
I know I'm opening a can of worms with this but, you claim you're getting robbed with the regular box set then proceed to throw down $100 on ebay for the "deluxe" box set.

Pretty sure the D side is etched on these too.

Haha I'm sure it's no cake walk. I was thinking about taking quantum mechanics for one of my electives next semester but after finishing electromagnetics I'm pretty sick of physics classes.
-
Cattle drums rule. Did you go see maps & atlases yesterday? Also congrats on zooming through a physics exam. What physics class was it?

I cut down a tree with a power drill today.

unfortunately yes it is. I imagine your life is a lot like this? -
You're partially correct. The grooves in these discs don't mimic waveforms. Instead, there are pits in the grooves that cause the needle and disc to act as a capacitor when the needle travels over them. This capacitance is then used to generate a FM signal containing the audio and video.

But Foxes is great too, I keep putting Paper Hanger on repeat. I can't stand son of a widow though. It's all crazy! had some great tracks, some mediocre tracks and some tracks I don't like at all. The What is it that you don't like about son of a widow?

lol this one too

Batteries provide less/no signal noise in comparison to a voltage transformation circuit. My guess is he is using it to power his pre amp on the left. Also, Lantern Cells have battery life in the range of thousands of mAh so it would take a while till he would need to change them. I might be wrong as this is only speculation.

There's pretty much no doubt they'll be in the prison by season 3. When they announced monday who they cast to play the governor they said we'll be seeing him in the third season. So it's pretty easy to assume they'll be in the prison pretty quick.
