oakland
From left, 7.75, 8, 8.25. I drew the snake, my friend Jay did the design work. I'm pretty excited. They are 100% American made with Canadian hard-rock maple. They are as good as skateboards get and only $35.

mrc
looks good and 35 bucks is a good deal... way better than buying a shitty flimsy blank deck for roughly the same cost.
oakland
WE sell them for $30 in the shop WITH grip, Mob or Jessup. That will go up to $35 in a month, but that's the highest. It's a great deal. We sell pro decks for $50 w/ grip.
papermonsters
These look awesome. The middle one would look sick with a black snack on natural finish. I'd hang it up on a wall.
mcm1610
If I had any amount of spare cash and stopped getting parking / speeding tickets, I'd buy one. Instead I have to save for car and insurance payments while I have no real job in the summer!
oakland
Thanks guys. I'm going to hang them on my wall at the shop just because, at 36, I've finally realized my dream to have my own skateboard. I also really like that I can get people whose art I love to do things for my boards. It's like a dream come true. Wait until you see the two-board Bobby Brown series I've got coming up. zac
Those aren't bad prices. What company did you use to make them?
bill
They look rad. Great price as well. Are these the sizes that people are skating these days? I always skated a 7.5 although it looked stupid as I have size 12 feet, I always felt I had no control over anything wider than that though. oakland
Those aren't bad prices. What company did you use to make them? SouthCentral. I talked to half a dozen shops and the majority (all east coast) said SC was the best wood in the biz. So far people love them.

I think the fact that trucks and wheels have become so much lighter has allowed people to ride bigger decks. Tiny boards are only good for their weight, so most people are riding 8" or a little bigger.
mcm1610
I have a 7.5 that's tiny-feeling.
oakland
It's not just tiny-feeling. It's tiny. I mean, that's a very small skateboard.
circlingvultures
Kind of like that the snake reminds me of the Neurosis snake. Might pick one of these up. I'm overdue for a new deck.
oakland
Do it soon, we're already running low. And thanks. I designed that snake the first time I ever used Illustrator. My daughter and I were drawing animals and she asked me how to draw a snake. I was like "well, you do a head and then just woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Then a tail." Came out pretty cool. I've even had a 7.25 before. I had an 8 when I was younger and hated it so from then on out I've gone smaller but I've been meaning to try bigger decks like 8-8.25 and see how they are but I haven't skated in over a year now. oakland
whatever works, you know? There have been MANY pros who rode ridiculously small boards to great success.
