astrangerwithcandy
Didn't even know this went up until today, I don't think it's a pre order: http://store.doomtree.net/product/sims-bad-time-zoo-double-vinyl They also have more copies of their self titled. thedavidescapeplan
This album is fantastic. I've yet to pull the trigger, but I'm hoping they'll be around a few more weeks.
astrangerwithcandy
Yeah I don't think it'll sell out extremely quick but I wouldn't sleep on it too long.
thedavidescapeplan
For sure. I plan to order it within the next few weeks. It's by and far the best album he's made. You can see it in his live show. The crowd goes nuts when he plays shit off this album, especially "Burn It Down."

scottheisel
Really cool album. Never heard his older stuff, though; is it as good?
astrangerwithcandy
Really cool album. Never heard his older stuff, though; is it as good? Lights Out Paris has a completely different vibe IMO. I highly recommend checking it out especially if you like Bad Time Zoo, if for no other reason just to see how his style evolved. I personally have liked everything to come out of the Doomtree camp though.
thedavidescapeplan
His older stuff is good, but he always kind of paled in comparison to the other people in Doomtree. This is the first record of his where I think he stands on his own and really establishes an identity. Lazerbeak's work on this definitely gave him the beats that he needed to push him forward. scottheisel
Lazerbeak is seriously the shit. Did his album come out on vinyl?
sharkticon
Hopefully he has copies of this on his tour with Dessa. I'll be seeing them next week.
astrangerwithcandy
Lazerbeak is seriously the shit. Did his album come out on vinyl? Not yet, last time I talked to him he didn't even know if this was happening on vinyl. He said they were going to try to put out all future releases on vinyl but it just gets very expensive. deafmx
if they were smart, they'd put everything out on vinyl. it'll sell. Lights Out Paris is awesome, some great songs on there. I really wish that was on vinyl. I still haven't gotten the new album. slacking on local stuff the last year. :-/ his last False Hopes didn't do anything for me and it tuned me out unfortunately.
