Sims - Bad Time Zoo

Recommended Posts

Really cool album. Never heard his older stuff, though; is it as good?

Lights Out Paris has a completely different vibe IMO. I highly recommend checking it out especially if you like Bad Time Zoo, if for no other reason just to see how his style evolved. I personally have liked everything to come out of the Doomtree camp though.

His older stuff is good, but he always kind of paled in comparison to the other people in Doomtree. This is the first record of his where I think he stands on his own and really establishes an identity. Lazerbeak's work on this definitely gave him the beats that he needed to push him forward.

if they were smart, they'd put everything out on vinyl. it'll sell.

Lights Out Paris is awesome, some great songs on there. I really wish that was on vinyl. I still haven't gotten the new album. slacking on local stuff the last year. :-/ his last False Hopes didn't do anything for me and it tuned me out unfortunately.
