dante3000
So, I'm planning to catch them tonight in Santa Cruz at The Bike Church (which I can only assume has the bitchingist church service ever) and I was just curious if anyone had seen them on this run. What the line up is like, songs, what they got for sale. I'm stoked but I just want to know what it's like before I head out. Thanks. dante3000
I really want to go tonight (and was planning on it) but I may actually just be too lazy to go. I don't know, I guess it doesn't help that I hate going to shows alone.
scottheisel
Their lineup on the Against Me! tour was everyone except Franz. I bet that's this tour's lineup, too.
dante3000
Their lineup on the Against Me! tour was everyone except Franz. I bet that's this tour's lineup, too. True story, when I interviewed them I set it up through Franz. Only I had no idea who he was at the time (not too into Hold Steady and Slims). So when Franz was talking about how he was excited to make the show because he wasn't out with anyone else I had no idea what he was talking about. It was just, "Okay dude, that's nice". Looking back I probably came off like a douche.

hickey
am i the only one who isn't into this band? don't get me wrong, they are all super talented and good at what they doo, they even put on a pretty fun show. but it's not for me. I can't stand them. I ended up seeing them three times in about a year (once with Against Me!; twice with the Bouncing Souls). They are way to gimmicky for me. The singer drinking wine during the show and using the old-school mic. Plus, with that many musicians on stage it's nearly impossible to not sound like noise. This band does nothing for me. ryantheterrible
my friend and co-worker is their new sax player. he's played about 15 shows so far, and will be playing every show. so tell kevin ryan said the abbey misses him.
goraiders
I went last night, there were way too many people packed into way too small of a place. You couldn't really hear at all what the singer was saying or see at all depending where you were. I don't know too much about the band other than that the guy from Hold Steady was there.
