edgedestroys
Doesn't get anymore progressive deathcore than this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiMRlj5RSLc&playnext=1&list=PLBA3BAF81DA62240E My Bitter End. I think you'd dig em if you haven't heard of them before. And since you're from PA, i've got to give my boys a shout out. check out Forbearance (melodic hardcore) and We The Gathered (christian metalcore) you might like them http://www.facebook.com/forbearancepa http://www.facebook.com/wethegathered?ref=ts I love me some MBE! I'm not the biggest fan of the vocals but goddamn the guitars rule. Shame they broke up after releasing such a beast. I saw Forbearance a few weeks ago with Deadhorse and some other guys, them and Sinking Sun were actually pretty solid.
Guest
i need some good blues. theres a blues bar that i like to go to occasionally, and i love every note that hits my ear when im there. but its always live stuff, and mostly original, so it doesnt give me much to work with. if you guys could recommend anything in the vein of zeppelin (how many more times, since ive been loving you, ...when the levee breaks), it would be very much appreciated. rtw88
For blues, check out Lightnin' Hopkins.
somethingvinyl
Blues is a difficult genre for me. You got so much stuff that is the essential blues (Rober Johnson, Hopkins, Lightnin' Slim, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy). But there's plenty of folk that influenced those guys that you've never heard of. Such as, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Charley Patton, Abner Jay, etc.
