scottheisel
Dallas once threatened to burn down my employer's building because we gave them a bad review. Unfortunately for him, he made this threat when they were opening for Hot Water Music in Cleveland (on an AP-sponsored tour, no less), a show where virtually the entire staff was present. Needless to say, Alexisonfire were not in the magazine for some time after that. (The hatchet's been buried now, though.)

It was either him or the other singer (George?). But pretty sure it was Dallas. Anyway, what was really funny about it was literally EARLIER THAT DAY we had begun working on our "100 Bands You Need To Know In 2005" list and had earmarked Alexisonfire for a full page. Man oh man, the email our editor in chief had the pleasure of writing Equal Vision's publicist and the band's manager the next morning was euphoric.
