mot
No clue. But when you need to get World Contact Day on purple, hit me up!

RustyShackelford
You should explain
harryq
I bought some test presses from kepi (appetite and born in the basement) and he's painting covers for them. since he's going to canada soon, I'd imagine I'll get them sooner rather than later
kriss
The only time I've ever seen Appetite, it was on pink - same with World Contact on purple. Both were super cheap when I picked them up too. I'll keep an eye out for you as Groovies stuff (aside from Appetite which I searched a bit for) tends to cycle through the record stores here in Chicago fairly often (and usually at 8 or 9 bucks a pop compared to the usual 25+ on Discogs and such). RustyShackelford
yeah i just scored one for $10. so i was just kind of curious
stickininmyeye
Appetites first press was on Crimson Corpse records on black vinyl. The pink marble is from Lookout the 2nd press. All the Lookout releases were only on colored vinyl excluding Fun In the Dark which was only black. Hope that helps.
RustyShackelford
i found all that out through searching discogs. its pretty cool how they are all colored. im just curious for numbers, but it doesnt really matter. im just stoked to finally start getting them a year or so ago i couldnt find them anywhere for a good price and now in the past week i got appetite and WCD for $10 a piece. its been a good week but yeah, thanks man! psychoriley
I've been collecting Ghoulies stuff to....Slowly picking them up on ebay at good prices....Permafaust you gotta let me know if your ever bidding on their stuff on ebay....I'd rather not bid each other up on something...most all the releases pop up eventually and I'm in no hurry. I've been keeping my eye out mainly for these lately, but still need quite a few things: Flying Saucer Rock N Roll 7" Don't Go Out In The Rain 7" Christmas On Mars 7" (Red)
RustyShackelford
i want the dont go out into the rain 7 inch, but other than that im gonna stick to LPs until ive got them all and then move on to 7 inches. ill definitely let you know man, thanks! moonbeams
Lookout didn't release pressing info and sadly the person who knew it has departed. It shouldnt be too hard to get Appetite on black. I sold one for $10 on ebay. One thing you will need to hunt for is the Go Stories on ghost white. It was for a record release party, maybe limited to 50.
RustyShackelford
im not looking for all the variations or even the rarest of the variations. only a copy of each release would be fine with me. thanks for your input though, ill definitely keep my eye out and see if i can score a go stories on white whenever i get to looking for one
stickininmyeye
Wow I didn't know Ghost Stories on white was that rare!
moonbeams
Wow I didn't know Ghost Stories on white was that rare! Don't take my word for it. Just passing on something I might have read two years ago.
tittus
Go stories went for 30 on ebay not too long ago. I picked up my Re-Animation Festival around the same time.
kriss
Unrelated to particular pressings, but it drives me nuts when I look at my Ghoulies records and see an abscence of Monster Club and 99 Lives. It'd be really nice if those had been issued.

It can't be that rare can it? I have one sitting on my shelf - bought it used for six bucks several years ago.

kriss
Heh. Not disbelief in you, just more stoked that I have a rarer copy (Go is one of the ones I don't listen to as much so I forgot the color until I went and looked).
harryq
I just got 2 copies of Go Stories (one black, one white) and the cover for the white one seems different (more cardboard brown than white, ink feels slightly raised (not quite like a screenprint, but similar), inside of the jacket is white instead of cardboard brown). am I crazy or were there different covers? tittus
If anyone has a spare copy of Go Stories they're looking to sell, Pm me. One of my favorite albums that I've been trying to get a hold of for a while.
