koremora
The slipmat that came with my turntable is starting to irritate me. It's made of a felt-ish material that seems to create a LOT of static cling after I play a record. Also, dust and such from the opposite side of the record will cling to the mat and end up BACK on the record, even if I clean it. Does anyone have recommendations for good, non-static-y slipmats? I would prefer ones that are white or at least a very light color, as my current black one seems to darken the colors of translucent LPs too much for my liking. Thanks! thebambino
I've always wondered about those cork mats. I made one. Just bought some thin cork board at the local craft store and traced a record, cut it, and then put it under a stack of books for a week to flatten it out. I use it sometimes. Def cuts down on static (over a felt mat)

sugarballs
Anyone know where I can get a PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) slipmat? I know I've seen them in the past but can't find them anywhere.
