almightyseancore
i know i've seen this posted on here before, but i hate VC search so yah. the wife and i are going out there on the 9th for a friends wedding, and we'll be out there for about 5 days. any good stores on or near the strip? i'll have a rental car, so a small bit of distance wouldn't kill me, as long as they have a decent supply i typically shop for punk/classic emo/80s - 90s alternative/post rock/psychedelic metal stuff. any help would be great, also feel free to throw any other kind of fun that can be had, not involving gambling/hookers/strippers. i'm sure we'll gamble some, but i'd rather buy a good record than drop a $10 bet. cactusbot
There isn't a lot. Not really a hot bed for record collectors. There is Zia records. I went there when I was in Vegas and was pretty unimpressed. It has two locations I think. I liked the one on Sahara more.
daughtersfan18
You can check out Record City. Its on Sahara and LV blvd. Has mostly older records then what you may be looking for. Other then that theres Zia and Hot Topic...
tylerrr
Yeah not much to really choose from out here. Anything you'll find at Zia isn't very hard to find from anywhere else. Every once in a while though I'll find something good. Like my Curl up and Die 7"... I was so stoked when I found that one... But yeah it's such a shit fest out here. almightyseancore
i don't normally keep my eyes peeled for rarities in a record store, i pretty much expect it to be stuff thats easy to find. theres still plenty of easy to find records out there i'd like to have, tho. =)
youspinmeround
Not worth your time Zia carries mostly cd. Record City has nothing that is good

tylerrr
You should still go... It's not very far off the strip and worth checking out. I'm sure you'll find something worth your time.
adamlikesmusic
Yeah, Zia isn't too great. There's a few locations here in Phoenix and Tucson, but I usually tend to buy games/movies there over vinyl. Their selection on records isn't great, and the new stuff is pretty expensive, but every now and then you find some good used stuff that's pretty cheap.
