They bank on being the first to post "news" even if it's from a vague tweet or unfounded post found on FB. All this does is fire up rumor mills and spread misinformation that misleads fans and people. It's not that hard to reach out to a label or band to get some sort of confirmation. Once it's confirmed, then post about it. Simple. And yeah, locking this thread.
