flood
they definately reuse plastic in cheaper vinyl.. hence why some places tag theirs as "virgin"
Guest falloutcollapse
does reused plastic sound worse than virgin?
thomas
does reused plastic sound worse than virgin? Supposedly, which makes some sense will all the extra stuff they put into reused stuff.
adambomb
virgin vinyl definetly retains the sould quality better, as does solids like white or black. I'm pretty sure that there are extra chemicals used in some of the crazier colors/ splatters / swirls you see a lot of these days that are not legal to use in the states, or at least in the levels that it would ake to make the vinyl. That is why a huge majority of the crazier vinyl is from plants overseas
oakland
I prefer black honestly. I'd rather have a 180 gram black record than any other color or combo.

steventangent
White is tacky for vinyl. I've always heard that it has the lowest fidelity of any colored vinyl.
