kannibal Posted July 17, 2012 Share Posted July 17, 2012 This LP finally came out today. Listening now. Initial impression is meh. I liked "Slo-motion" and "Lay Down Your Arms". Both sound more Mechanical Animals (my favorite) than a lot of the stuff on the album. The super heavy "Murderers Are Getting Prettier Everyday" is a nice surprise as well. Hearing mediocre Manson reminds me of how much I like Golden Age of Grotesque. Just initial impressions, but I usually give all my albums at least two listens. I got bored after 3 or 4 songs on this album. Maybe Golden Age just set my expectations too high. I'll try to give it another chance, but even High End Of Low only had like 4 good songs.
