I had no idea that there were different names for these things. nah, its different than a bachelor/ette party because those are generally just for the wedding parties, and are free/paid for by the people in each party for the bride and groom... a stag and drag is litterally a party for anyone who wants to come/is invited, and they're responsible for paying to get in, paying for their drinks, and paying for raffle tickets to win prizes. It's not just for the wedding party, but any guy who either is invited or hear's about it or stumbles across the right location and pays to get in.
