BBech
Why is that?
3arl
Some more detail would help.
companyinkrecs
Each side of a record is cut from a separate lacquer (assuming the material is different) so one side playing fine doesn't have any bearing on the other. An infinite amount of problems can cause this ranging from a literal physical deformity on the stamper (used to create each record) or a fixable imperfection on your copy such as dirt, dust, or something like that, or an issue with your turntable, usually an insufficient amount of weight on your tone arm. Since you're playing one side fine on the same turntable, its more likely that the bad side is dirty, or simply fucked. This is why label's get test pressings, and in many cases imperfections are ignored and approved anyway. I hope this was a real question and that I somehow helped and did not feel the troll. vinylfilmaholic
BBech
I'm not trolling. I've noticed a couple times this has happened. It didn't look warped the best I could tell.

BBech
Ok. So does anyone have any corrective actions for what this could possible be?
abovetheearth
We can't give corrective advice until we pinpoint why its doing it first. Could be from the plant, shipping, variant, label, etc. Maybe people with the same record have the same issues. What details other than 'it's not warped' and 'side A is fine side B skips?' BBech
I'll listen to it again. If its dirty how do I easily clean it?
dreamover
i'd buy a microfiber brush and some cleaning solution. if you can't do that, i microfiber cloth and a little distilled water can help. http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-clean-vinyl-records/
One Hundred Fifty-Two
We know it isn't warped because that would effect play on both sides. My best guess is a scratch, dirt, or plant imperfection. Dirt you can fix the other two you are probably out of luck.
