Guest Secular Haze
From the PRP: "Never say never when it comes to Ministry. The band are lining up a September release date for their ‘final’ studio album, “From Beer To Eternity“. The opus features guitar playing from the late Mike Scaccia (also of Rigor Mortis fame), who passed away this past December. Bassist Tony Campos (Soulfly, ex-Static-X, etc.), guitarist Sin Quirin and drummer Aaron Rossi were also involved in the sessions." There are 3 known variants (so far) for this album: Black (unlimited), Clear (/500), and Red (/500) I will update this original post if any additional information surfaces. The links to pre-order are below: Black: http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/products/tontraeger/vinyl/2lp/ministry-from-beer-to-eternity-black-vinyl.html Clear: http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/products/tontraeger/vinyl/lp/ministry-from-beer-to-eternity-clear-vinyl.html Red: http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/products/tontraeger/vinyl/2lp/ministry-from-beer-to-eternity-red-vinyl.html
mxv
Anything "final" from Ministry carries about as much legitimacy as a pro wrestler retiring. I can guarantee you it won't be the final anything. There was a final Ministry tour and two years later they came back and toured again.

radiatorhums
I'll give this a listen, but it's been quite a while since I've liked a new Ministry release. That cover art is horrendous too.
iron666monkey
Nothing about this looks remotely good. That being said, I know it'll be up on Ebay the day some folks get it in the mail.
apeman
Especially 'Psalm 69' was a great album and had a huge influence on what I listened to during the mid 90s. I wouldn't even try to guess how many times i must have spun that. A very dark and creative sound. 'The Land of Rape and Honey' & 'The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste' are also high points in the Ministry discography. I even ended up liking 'Filth Pig' and som parts of 'Dark Side of the Spoon', but everything after that has been boring to me. Ministry without Paul Barker doesn't really work out. radiatorhums
I'm with you. Dark Side was the last album that I remember enjoying and it wasn't solid all the way through. I'm interested in the Trent Reznor collaboration that Al mentioned is happening.
mikeburns
wow im such a fan of ministry up to dark side too! Just purchased a sealed copy of filth pig (my favourite) from 1994 I think. Cost a crap load but very very happy with it. I also have psalm 69 on vinyl (reissue) which is great. Unfortunately this in no way interests me New ministry is so over done in the studio, it just sounds too clean and the great riffs are just non existent. Wish they would reissue the mind and dark side on vinyl as well!
