Guest Posted October 29, 2014 Share Posted October 29, 2014 sunday night, a couple friends were in the city. while we were walking around, looking for a bar, we saw that there was a show at the bowery, and the dude at the door motioned for us to just come in. heard some pretty solid bluegrass, and after the first song, my friend looked at me and said "have you ever heard of shakey graves? they sound like this, i bet you'd really like it" by the next song, she realized that what we were seeing was actually shakey graves. and she was right, i did really like it. dude has such a strong stage presence- great charisma. so if you ever get the chance to see them for free, do it.
