It was just a drunk idea when I originally posted this thread, but I have some guys that think it will be a good time, and I've been blessed with a new job recording kid songs on the ukulele, so I figure this would be like "cross-training" or staying musically fit on the ukulele.Question: If you went to a bar and heard a band playing songs popular among the punk/pop-punk/emo/pre-hipster crowd between the years 1999-2006 on the ukulele/steel-drums, would you at least smile? Or would you just flip the band off and go somewhere else?I started tracking snippets of songs that I think people at bars would recognize (bar bands have to play songs that people know) to give the other band members ideas of where I'm at in my head.
